Cacciatori In Cartosio

It's certainly nice, refined and good but I have to say that for the area it's the place I expected a little more given the reviews! It's all a question of expectations... very good food, good service. A little expensive and a little cold in terms of environment

Oggi siamo stati a pranzo presso questo ristorante situato a Cartosio, appartenente al circuito delle "Premiate Trattorie Italiane". Locale elegante e sobrio allo stesso tempo, molto ordinato, dove si respira un aria di tranquillità e pacatezza. Il titolare e lo staff molto premurosi e cortesi. Materie prime semplici ma di grande qualità, il tutto cotto al momento sulla stufa a legna. Carta dei vini molto fornita sia con bottiglie dal buon rapporto qualità-prezzo che grandi etichette dal costo importante. Noi abbiamo scelto un ottimo Barbera "Monleale" 2015 dell'Azienda Vigneti Massa di Monleale (AL) che ben si è abbinato alle pietanze assaporate. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto che abbiamo condiviso in tre, comprendente insalata russa, acciughe al verde, una ratatouille, salame e frittata di cipolle, tutto molto buono. Abbiamo proseguito con taglierini al ragù per due e dei maltagliati di farina di farro con carciofi e guanciale, entrambi squisiti! Inoltre abbiamo preso anche il pollo alla cacciatora per due davvero valido. Infine i dolci (elencati a voce), abbiamo scelto il gelato all'arancia per due e un semifreddo allo zabajone. Un'acqua e tre caffè per un conto finale di 182 Euro in tre, da ritenersi corretto per la bontà dei piatti assaporati e le materie prime utilizzate, anche se il costo di alcuni di essi (in particolare il secondo e uno dei dolci) è un po' alto se rapportato alla porzione servita. Nota di merito: non si paga il coperto. Locale consigliato, ritorneremo!

Today we had lunch at this restaurant located in Cartosio, part of the "Premiate Trattorie Italiane" circuit. An elegant and sober place at the same time, very tidy, where you can breathe an air of tranquility and calm. The owner and the staff are very attentive and courteous. Simple but high quality raw materials, all cooked on the spot on the wood stove. Very well-stocked wine list with both good value bottles and large labels with a significant price. We chose an excellent Barbera "Monleale" 2015 from the Azienda Vigneti Massa di Monleale (AL) which paired well with the dishes we tasted. We started with a mixed appetizer that we shared between three, including Russian salad, anchovies in green sauce, ratatouille, salami and onion omelette, all very good. We continued with tagliolini with ragù for two and maltagliati made from spelt flour with artichokes and bacon, both exquisite! We also took the chicken cacciatore for two, really good. Finally, the desserts (listed verbally), we chose the orange ice cream for two and a zabaglione semifreddo. A water and three coffees for a final bill of 182 Euros for three, to be considered fair for the goodness of the dishes tasted and the raw materials used, even if the cost of some of them (in particular the second course and one of the desserts) is a bit high if compared to the portion served. Note of merit: there is no cover charge. Recommended place, we will return!

Un restaurante tenue y estilista en el pueblo de Cartosio cerca de Acqui Terme, AT. El lugar perfecto para una comida tranquila e íntima. Desafortunadamente, las porciones son bastante pequeñas. Están sabrosas y bien hechas , pero incluso con tres o cuatro platos y una botella de vino seguirás teniendo un poco de hambre y tu cartera será ligera casi cien euros por persona cuando te vayas. Lástima que el anfitrión es muy agradable y la comida es preparada por su cónyuge. . .
