We stopped in passing. A beautiful place in the countryside. Fixed menu or a round of starters or starters plus ravioli or polenta with meat. Excellent welcome and friendliness. We ate in a room with a wood stove and felt like we were back in time. Handsome

I fell in love with this beautiful tavern. The location is enchanting and you can enjoy a wonderful view of a beautiful lawn where you can lie down on the deckchairs. Speaking of food: the menu is a tasting menu so they bring you the starters which are fantastic (fresh cheese with potatoes, boiled chestnuts with excellent butter, flan with cheese fondue and incredible cold cuts among which the lard undoubtedly stood out) then you can choose whether eat a first course, in our case there was herb ravioli available, or choose a second course we chose to eat simple polenta with wild boar braised in wine which melted in the mouth. For dessert there was panna cotta with a truly delicious apple cream made by them. We ate inside and it is very quaint and comfortable with a very good and really friendly waitress. The house wine, a still Barbera, was very good. At the end we tasted both the genepy and the herbal bitters made by them and they were really good. I absolutely recommend this place. Small note: there are one star reviews where these people complain about the road that leads to the tavern saying that it is an impassable road: This is absolutely not true. These people have clearly never been to the mountains or seen a real dirt road. Finally, I recommend booking as the place is small.

Finally a restaurant in the mountains that doesn't serve banalities.. Excellent cured meats and cheeses, good polenta with wild boar... Highly recommended

Bellissimo posto con una vista sulla vallata. Locale molto accogliente arredato con gusto). Abbiamo ordinato il menù degustazione comprensivo di 4 antipasti (tometta fresca locale, castagne e burro, affettati misti e bresaola) il primo del giorno (agnolotti alle erbe di montagna), dolce (frittelle di mele e crema della casa) : tutte le portate erano abbondanti e davvero buone e genuine, servite da un ragazzo molto gentile, educato e paziente. La proprietaria ,alla cassa, è una donna molto solare e positiva. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.Dopo il pranzo ci si può rilassare nel prato di fronte fornito di sdraio e panchine , godendosi un panorama stupendo. Per tutte queste qualità merita un cinque stelle abbondante.

I give 4 stars because I have been to this farm 3 times...the last one was the fourth....the first 3 times I was always good, the quality of the food was impeccable, the service was always on point, however the last time was not I was convinced by the service where they seemed a little hesitant to ask for an encore, maybe they changed their policy I don't know....even the dishes were not up to the standard of the other times....so I want to be honest and not judge only since the last time....beautiful location with a breathtaking view of the valley (complete with deckchairs).
