Ca' De Memi In Piombino dese

I ordered their Giorgione flour online, a truly special flour for those who are passionate and curious bakers. They prepared everything for same-day collection. Ca' de Memi is a farm with a very particular location almost in the middle of the small town of Piombino Dese. The house is very cute with a nice courtyard, with their rare breed chickens just a stone's throw away. The sisters and staff were very kind, answering various questions we had with enthusiasm. Would have to try their agriturismo! It is a typical motorcycle of the area but particular for their production choices. Highly recommended!

Unmissable! It's worth the trip. Also for the quality of the cuisine, the wines, the kindness of the staff.

This farmhouse on the edge of a small town outside Padua is an ideal base for exploring the area. It’s run by Giulia and her mother Michela, whose husband’s family have lived here for generations, and named for Giulia’s grandfather Geminiano (Memi for short). There’s an extensive garden and orchard surrounding it as well as a chicken run, and much of the produce that appears on the table is grown by the family. Eggs, and house-made preserves and pasta can also be purchased. I'm in love with the collection of copper pans that decorate one wall in the large kitchen where breakfast is served. Michela, Giulia and their small staff are friendly and helpful – a great source of advice on where to eat and what to see in the area. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-decorated and it’s obvious that you are a guest in a family home.
