So glad I came here and ventured out of the touristy area in Florence. The seafood was insanely fresh and reasonably priced. It turned out to be the best meal of my trip. I recommend the raw seafood platters, anchovies, butter and bread and pastas.

Our BEST meal in Florence. My wife and I have been in Florence for 2 weeks enjoying a relaxed holiday. On day 13 we experienced the a delightful dinner. The service, food, wine and the atmosphere were outstanding. I cannot recommend Burro & Acciughe enough - if you do not eat here while in Florence, you are missing out.

Tuvimos una buena cena aquí. Vinimos temprano y nos sentamos inmediatamente. Todos los platos eran buenos, es decir, aperitivo de calamar a la parrilla, besugo al horno y pulpo a la parrilla. En particular, el besugo se presentó con mucha elegancia.

Difficult table because it was made up of 12 people, rather demanding and confusing.
Perfect service both in terms of timing and courtesy.
As for the dishes, they are all very good, very fresh and not overly processed fish.

San Frediano, a Firenze, zona di 100 locali, tutti alla moda ed anche Burro & Acciughe ne fa parte. Tavolata fra amici, prima volta, non un piatto uguale. Direi eccellente, con qualche imperfezione; pane e acqua si portano subito in tavola, qualche sorriso in più non guasterebbe, le forchette si cambiano (non a richiesta!) visto il costo del coperto. Per la cucina siamo ad un ottimo livello: uovo a 63° e tataki di ricciola sopra gli altri antipasti, paccheri alla pescatora ottimi, i tonnarelli cacio e pepe li preferisco all'uovo e non "contaminati" dal polpo, frittura mista con salicornia molto buona, calamari grigliati con carciofi nella media. Dessert nella media. Offerta della cantina notevole, un po' cara.
