Cool place and hospitality, fantastic food, sorry I couldn't taste the beers, for guidance... However quick and efficient. The desserts invited tasting. If I can I will definitely go back.

We had dinner with my partner, really good meat, kind and very attentive staff. Beautiful and welcoming environment, our 4-legged friends are welcome, excellent place, I will definitely return

Special and really good dishes... Definitely full-bodied and valid beer... A little expensive but a treat every now and then is really worth the price

Andiamo in questo posto da più o meno quando ha aperto sempre mangiato bene ma oggi devo dire deludente Abbiamo aspettato ben 35 minuti per poter ordinare e ho chiamato io perché per loro tutto normale altri 20 minuti per avere due bottiglie di acqua. Una volta ti portavano un entree oggi sparito. Panino buono ma come in altri posti nulla di più e servito senza neanche una foglia di insalata di guarnizione. Per me e ripeto per me non vedo motivo di tornare diventato come tanti altri. Peccato

We had dinner with friends, we were a table of more than 10 people. The dishes arrived all together within a few minutes. Good burgers, with nice combinations of raw materials. Friendly and helpful service.

It remains a decent place with a good variety of sandwiches, salads and "dish of the day". Unfortunately over the years the quality of the dishes has dropped slightly. Perhaps the change in internal staff was not absorbed in the best way. Sin

A huge thank you to all the staff, and to Nasma in particular, for helping us organize a wonderful family birthday surprise! They made a delicious cake and all the burgers were great! It was a fabulous evening thanks to the welcome of all the staff and the care they always have for every detail!

19/10/2024: Menu created as 4 different 5-course tasting menus. They have great choice of wines. Cuisine and service are of a high standard. A small room inside the hotel, with 5 tables, lake view. But the atmosphere in the restaurant was a bit cold
16/10/2024: One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Amazing tasting menu, the service is impeccable. The view and atmosphere are perfect. It deserves at least 2 Michelin stars ⭐️ Much better than many Michelin restaurants I ate at. Will come again for sure!

La grolla Menaggio

29/12/2024: It's a real shame that in this place some of the waiters aren't very kind, never a smile, never an apology etc. This is after coming here at least 3 times and in all 3 times within 2 years the same thing happened to me. Beautiful view because it faces the lake and in summer you eat outdoors. The food is good, it's a shame about the education of the staff who I have also seen in other reviews say the same things as me. To be reviewed
03/11/2024: This place was such a great find! Next time I’m in Menaggio, I’ll start here. Oh, and the spritz was 7€
