The burgers are always very good. The staff is friendly, but the place is small and a bit noisy.

For about ten years, these guys have been doing an excellent job in terms of the quality of their ingredients and their hospitality. Franz Burger isn't your typical grab-and-go burger joint; in a way, it's a full-fledged restaurant. It has about seven tables indoors, and in the summer, you can also dine outside. If you go with at least two or three people, the experience gives you the chance to try more options, such as the oven-baked croquettes with bacon and provolone, accompanied by their fabulous accompanying sauce of nduja and honey, or the naggets stuffed with porchetta and the croquette stuffed with pulled pork. I tried the former, the croquette with bacon and provolone and the honey and nduja sauce. It was a real treat. The coarse breading was excellent, and didn't overpower the flavors of the other ingredients. That sweet, yet slightly spicy, sauce enriched it quite a bit. Let's get to the sandwiches. Here you can choose from three types of meat: beef, horse meat, and chicken. You can also choose between bread, a whole grain version, or the classic version I chose. I chose their double smashed burger with cheddar bacon and their Franz sauce. The sandwich is simply perfect, where the meat is the real star. You can taste the quality of the meat, but also the skill of the chef. The meat was nicely browned at the edges and juicy at the same time. What I appreciated was the light use of sauces. Let's be clear, if the meat is quality, it should be enhanced and not overpowered by unnecessary sauces. The bread was also good; it didn't fall apart, and the size of the bread and meat was just right. The bacon was good, slightly crispier, but that's just a small thing. For what I mentioned, plus water and service, I paid €23. They also have desserts, but I didn't order them. Maybe next time. I forgot something important except for the smashed burgers, for the other burgers they ask you to cook the meat which is not a given

Staff was friendly and nice. Burger bread could be different. Meat was bland and not that tasty. I don't like the paste/sauce under the smash burger. It could be more cheesy sauce.

Great handmade burger place. Friendly service and the option to build your own burger is the holy grail for someone with lactose intolerance. The beer here is also great. If you like burgers, I definitely recommend it

A charming burger joint with friendly staff and a fun atmosphere.
Fries had a solid crunch, and my burger was spectacular.
Service was friendly, and the burgers massive. 10/10 would slam one of these again. (Protip: If you've got a western palate, based on my groups orders, the more unfamiliar the burger, the tastier it is)

The place is very nice, with a familiar and comfortable atmosphere. The sandwich is good, well-filled, and just the right size. The baked potatoes are also really excellent. I highly recommend it.

The food tasted delicious, the size of the ham was not as in the pictures. However, the fries were great in terms of quantity and quality. Unfortunately, there was no seating, but you could order takeaway. They said it would take 15 minutes to prepare, and it really did.
