Buon Gustaio In Rimini

Oh my gosh, this place is absolutely incredible! It’s not just 10/10, it’s way more than that - it’s the real Italian experience. The staff was super friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. If you’re ever in Rimini, you absolutely have to check this place out! 🥰

Really good fish, try the seafood pan, mop up the sauce with their homemade fornarina!

Poorly cooked pasta, not enough seasoning. Tasteless seafood salad. Generous portions. Friendly owner. Friendly waitress. Rude others. They were a nuisance while I was eating.

There is little to say, a family that works with passion is seen and felt. I tasted several dishes from the appetizer to their Sicilian cannolo... first courses well made and abundant, very loaded mixed fried food. In short, if I were to return to Rimini I would definitely return very very willingly... Keep going.

We visited this restaurant after hearing great things about their fish, but sadly, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations. Most of the fish we ordered was overcooked and slightly burned, and the side of broccoli was unpleasantly bitter. While the waitress was kind, communication was poor. I specifically asked if the fish came with vegetables—she said yes, but we were later surprised by a €5 charge for them. The same happened with the mixed fish platter: we were asked what kind of potatoes we wanted, and it was implied they were included, but again, another €5 was added to the bill. We were also served a small bread basket without any explanation—it seemed complimentary, but it turned out to cost €5 (€2.50 per person) for just a few slices and additional two hard, dry pieces of white bread. Especially frustrating considering their white pizza (which is basically the same bread) was listed at €4.50 on the menu. All these unexpected charges added up to €15 extra, making us feel misled. It’s not about the money—it’s about transparency. I’m always happy to pay for good service and extras, but not when they come as a surprise. The lack of clear communication left a bitter aftertaste, both literally and emotionally. Unfortunately, this impacted the overall experience and the tip we had originally intended to leave.

We found this restaurant by chance, turning on the road parallel to the seafront. We were inspired by the very welcoming and familiar environment without sacrificing elegance in any way. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Generous portions and very high quality, starting from the bread and Fornarina offered at the beginning to the biscuits made by them that accompany the coffee. Excellent service, quite informal (just how I like it) with jokes and smiles from the waiters. We were surprised by the price, we didn't expect to spend so little and eat so well. It's been a while since we left a restaurant so satisfied. Highly recommended!

We ate very well even though it was late! Excellent food and excellent cooking of both pasta and risotto. Kind and helpful waiters and little waiting between dishes when they came out. The only flaw is that it is a shame that a limoncello or a coffee was not offered by the owners and that the cents were not "sharpened" in the bill!! For this 4 stars instead of 5! I am convinced that reviews are also useful for the owners!
