Great food, I highly recommend the homemade nut pesto because the pasta alone was perfect, and the sauce perfectly rounded it off. The wine and coffee were also great, and the prices were reasonable. 100% recommendation.

My friends, I've never felt so good in such a truly rustic place, where you feel like you're living with family. Delicious food. Perfect service. And more than good prices, especially for the authentic, top-quality products. I come here every day, whenever I can. There's a huge shelf of books; you can bring your own and take one if you want. Very nice atmosphere and especially the food! We came across this place with a friend and we couldn't praise the food, the service and the overall atmosphere! Although the menu is not very extensive, you will definitely find something to your liking and you won't be disappointed! I had pasta with nut pesto, wine and water and coffee, my friend pasta with tomatoes and eggplant. Everything was very good, deliciously seasoned. The owner is very nice and will prepare your food practically right in front of you in no time. And most importantly, the price is really nice. For an excellent lunch for 2, drinks and coffee, we paid half of what we would have paid in another restaurant with worse service and food. If you're passing by, definitely consider visiting!

A pleasant surprise. A classic osteria where Silvia welcomes you like a true host with a smile and warmth, preparing fresh dishes with quality ingredients. Excellent homemade desserts. Super price! There were 11 of us and we only spent 90 euros!

A very simple place, but the food is truly home-cooked and fantastic. Silvia, the owner and chef, is truly kind and available to accommodate our requests, even preparing us a Lubyanka at short notice. What can I say? A must-visit when you're passing through Trieste and want to eat well without spending a fortune. Keep it up!
