Nice place along the big square. We were with a big group and the tables on the terrace were moved for us, very nice. Had a nice lunch, the pasta carbonara was a good portion and very tasty, only the salad could use some dressing.

This place is a true gem! We loved it. They sprak English, which is quite helpful. Our waitress was pretty amazing explaining details about the food we ordered. The place is 'locale storico', dating back to 1897. Tottaly recommend it. The food is amazing. Local, traditional cuisine.

Consigliati da una amica siamo stati in questo locale storico e appena entrati i profumi mi hanno ricordato la Baviera però in stile italiano, locale rustico ma essenziale personale molto gentile e disponibile i piatti proposti sono pochi ma ottimi il prezzo è in linea con il locale ed il tipo di mangiare ottimo anche il refosco della casa

18/05/2025: Location located in the nightlife area, simple environment with tables also outdoors, fast and courteous service, typical dishes of the Trieste tradition from appetizer to dessert, correct portions, valid quality-price ratio. Excellent breaded vegetables and trio of meatballs, exquisite gnocchi with goulash. Essential wine list. Must try.

18/05/2025: Good food. Fairly wide assortment of typical Trieste dishes. Staff apparently “cold” but ultimately kind and helpful. Very good meat. Average prices
09/05/2025: Anyone who wants to eat Trieste-style must take a tour. The cuisine is typical, and not the lightest. The dishes are tasty, the second courses are particularly generous. I felt good.
