Piccolo ristorante nel centro città, molto frequentato dai triestini che lo utilizzano per un veloce pasto. Panini, un pò di rosticceria e piatti locali: baccalà, patate in tecia, goulash, oltre insalata russa ed altri contorni consentono di soddisfare i palati più vari. Servizio veloce, quasi frenetico e conto relativamente modesto, ma adeguato al livello del locale.

Traditional Trieste restaurant specializing in boiled meat loin.
The environment of the restaurant is very pleasant and typical, unexpected for a restaurant in a seaside city.
The main dishes are various side dishes such as sauerkraut and potatoes which serve as an accompaniment to the main course, mixed boiled meat.
The one in the photo is for 4 people and I would say rightly balanced, consisting of: cotechino, 2 sausages, tongue, muscle, belly and roast ham at the price of 40 euros more or less.
We then finished dinner by taking 4 sandwiches respectively with roast ham, tongue, and boiled all 4 with mustard.
I highly recommend this place especially for the very fast and extremely friendly service!

It's a shame, the good grandmother's kitchen wouldn't need to take money out of its customers' pockets like that! The ambience and service doesn't match the good food but feels more like a tourist trap. It would be good for the restaurant to create an honest, rustic and original atmosphere, just like the delicious dishes you get there. Unfortunately, the service and ambience significantly reduce the rating of the good food.

An authentic Italian restaurant in the North East area. You won't find pizza or pasta there, but typical Italian meat and sausage. A lot of influence from nearby countries such as Germany, Austria and Croatia. There is no gaure to choose from, a main course of their meat (very good) boiled (as if it were a pot roast) and accompanied by some dishes to choose from (potatoes, battered aubergine...). The right service, a very nice and authentic place. The price of the shed is separate.
The set is correct, interesting to try a restaurant with this type of culinary offer. The desserts were very good, the tiramisu served with tarrine and apfllstrudel. I recommend it!
