A splendid venue, expertly renovated with frescoes of unparalleled beauty. A lunch accompanied by high-quality food and mouth-watering tagliolini with truffles. The story and explanation of the various dishes and the origins of the ingredients were also wonderful.

Spectacular. Everything was excellent! Including the service.
The ragù was incredible, worthy of applause. The artichoke soup was amazing, the fried artichokes were perfect, and the Cinta Senese prosciutto melted in your mouth. Throughout all of this, they were kind, helpful, and classy.

The idea of restoring to the city this iconic place of Arezzo's food and wine tradition, present since the 1960s, has been achieved.
Excellent ingredients, starting with the oil and bread, execution both simple and sophisticated (as it should be), homemade pasta, and a focus on seasonality.
The city's best "calling card" has finally returned.
Kudos to Luca, the special host.

The menu lists the specials of the day, so we ordered based on what was listed later at the next table. The waiter described the dishes off the menu to the diners, something he hadn't done with us.
So, one of two things: either write all the specials of the day on the menu, or the waiter should tell all the customers, not the ones he likes the most.
I repeat, the service needs to be reviewed; something's not right.

A very, very charming trattoria, with a vintage atmosphere and a veritable display of Bolognese references on the walls. I had a phenomenal tagliatelle with a ragù worthy of its birthplace. The mortadella mousse appetizer was lovely and well-made, a splendid use of mortadella. The desserts were simple but carefully crafted (I had gelato and panna cotta, both with little touches to enhance them, which I won't reveal). The highlight of the evening, besides the ragù? An incredibly good coffee, just the right amount of body and aroma.
It's a place I'll definitely return to, even during this stay. My only small complaint, and one piece of advice (formerly a professional bias as a HACCP consultant), would be to provide more detailed information on the menu about allergens in dishes, or to provide a notice if there aren't separate work lines. Not very nice, but certainly helpful in avoiding unpleasant incidents. Well done.

Arriving in Assisi for our honeymoon, we stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance on our first evening and were immediately captivated, starting with the extraordinary beauty of the building, dating back to 1100.
The cuisine is excellent and refined, with a touch of modernity that enhances without ever distorting the typical flavors of Umbria.
What struck us most, however, was the kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff, and especially of the owner, Mr. Giovanni: a delightful and elegant man, who expertly guided us in choosing typical local dishes and wines.
The restaurant's participation in the souvenir circuit was also greatly appreciated, a detail that adds further value to the experience.

I recommend it for a simple, traditional, high-quality dinner; it's definitely worth it. The Arezzo location is very comfortable, with perfect, fast, and discreet service. The bill is reasonable. Reservations are recommended.
