The coffee is quite expensive, espresso 2 eur, in other places 1.20. But on the plus side, for the first time in my few days in Rome I got a cup of water with my coffee.

Their sandwiches are of a decent size. I ordered Lasagna which was very good, but could have ordered the turkey sandwich and it would have been more filling.

We spent 10 days in Rome, and 6 of those were spent at this lovely little corner restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and you could even learn a little Italian from them. The food was delicious and highly recommended, and the price and quality were top-notch. Take your time and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the place.

Marziali 1922 - Piazza Caprera

07/10/2025: Great place for aperitif, coffee or desert! One of legendary places in Rome in piazza Caprera. Great atmosphere and feel.
14/09/2025: Very nice atmosphere outside of the city centre on a cosy piazza. A lot of locals over there. I ordered tiramisu and a great vitello tonnato with Campari spritz. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommended.
