We stayed here at the end of April 2025. Despite arriving very late, the owner seated us without any hassle. We ate exquisite meat, samphire, and surprising, sophisticated desserts. As if that weren't enough, we were amazed not only by the quality of the food but also by the extremely reasonable price. An unexpected and fantastic discovery. We've now returned to Gargano on vacation, and our first thought upon arrival was: on Wednesday, we'll be back in Vico del Garda at the Giulio Cesare grill!

This year, we were disappointed compared to the past. The meat is always excellent, but the wait is incredibly long, difficult to manage when you have children.
The platter of cured meats and cheeses was truly meager, therefore very expensive in terms of quantity/price.
When the platter with the meat we chose finally arrived (for 7 people), the accompanying side dish, which was included, consisted of only two sliced potatoes (not even two potato slices per person).
The price was too high for what we ate.

We've become regulars, returning at least once (often more) every summer for years to enjoy the meats and caciocavallo cheese at Giulio Cesare Grill. The quality of the meat and expert cooking are now a given. Today, I'd like to highlight the kindness and courtesy, as well as the extreme helpfulness of the owners and every member of the staff, on a somewhat "special" evening. A technical problem with the stovetop slowed down service, resulting in some inconvenience: longer waits for us guests, but a real struggle for the staff, who did everything they could to accommodate the already seated customers. Kindness and courtesy, as always. Thank you.

Courtesy and quality, I'd recommend it to friends and family. A must-see in Vico del Gargano. Exceptional meat and excellent appetizers, quality wine, knowledgeable staff... not to be missed... I came here tonight with friends... I made a great impression!!! Cherry, the final touch...

The quality of the meat is excellent, and the selection of top-quality ingredients is clearly evident. The creudi and caciocavallo cheeses are also noteworthy. The service was fast and helpful. A truly pleasant discovery, a place I highly recommend.

We enjoyed a pleasant dinner outdoors, the evening enlivened by a band... While we waited for our two appetizers (a selection of cheeses and grilled caciocavallo), we moved inside and chose our meats to grill. The appetizer was good, but the grilled meat was exceptional! I highly recommend it!

Locale accogliente e perfetto per gli amanti della carne. Il menù non offre molti antipasti, ma la qualità delle carni e la cottura alla brace sono davvero eccellenti. Tagli selezionati, porzioni generose e sapori decisi: qui si viene per gustare la carne come si deve. Servizio cordiale e ambiente informale.
