One of the best restaurants in Ischia is recommended, especially for its specialty, Ischitan-style rabbit, which requires advance reservation. But beyond the specialty, everything was delicious, from the house appetizer to the excellent first courses.
Not to mention that, if you arrive at sunset, you'll witness a truly incredible display of colors.

Absolutely great restaurant! Was recommended by a local as one of the last family owned restaurants to use locally caught rabbits for their Ischia Rabbit dish. Everything was hearty and delicious and all the staff was extremely friendly and upbeat. If you want classic Italian warmth with delicious food go here!!

A rustic and welcoming place, with a truly picturesque view from the outside. The food is excellent: I highly recommend the appetizers, rich and varied, a real treat for those who like to start their meal with lots of bites. The pasta and potatoes served in a loaf of bread is a must-try; it's an original and delicious idea. Crispy potatoes, flavorful and beautifully cooked wild boar ragù. But the real surprise comes with the desserts: the stuffed spheres are delicious. Highly recommended!

I was there for the first time about 40 years ago when I was a kid. Today I went back with my family and we had a wonderful meal. This restaurant has remained unchanged over time... Everything was delicious, from the appetizers of mixed vegetables, cured meats, cheeses, caponata, pasta and potatoes served in a bread basket. The rabbit, of course, reigns supreme, exquisitely prepared, the staff were kind and helpful, the place was clean... What can I say? I'll definitely be back and I recommend it to everyone... Top!

I just returned from Bracconiere, where I ate and drank divinely. Don't start by saying this review is the product of alcohol fumes; I'm sober. Everything at Michele is wonderfully good. The appetizers are generous and strictly Ischitani. The rabbit, for me, is the best in Ischia, the wine with percoca (yellow peach), the desserts. Not to mention the fraternal friendship of Michele, Marco, and Dario, and the skill of chef Leonardo, who, with his enthusiasm, has infused the restaurant's menu with a burst of energy. I've been returning every year for over 20 years now, and yet it's always a welcome change for me.

Today we returned to this magnificent place for lunch and were impressed by the consistently high quality of the authentic cuisine, made with top-quality ingredients. It was a symphony of flavors, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the rabbit, even though it's also our signature dish from the Murgia Barese area. A must-visit for anyone interested in Ischian cuisine!

Il Bracconiere Restaurant is an institution for Ischian rabbit and is an unmissable culinary experience. The quality and deliciousness of the dishes are truly exceptional. Our lunch was memorable, especially the amazing Ischian rabbit, a dish that stands out at Il Bracconiere for its incredible flavor. The first course and side dishes were also absolutely delicious. Beyond the cuisine, we were also impressed by the great professionalism and courtesy of the owner, Mr. Michele, and his staff, who made us feel right at home. A must-try if you're on the island!
Well, I'd just add: it's not for those with sensitive stomachs.

Il posto ha una vista sull’isola magnifica. Solo questa vale il viaggio. Personale gentile e molto disponibile. Poi…c’è il coniglio e le pappardelle al sugo di coniglio: entrambi spaziali. Non perdete questa tappa se siete a Ischia, e se posso consigliare a pranzo, con la luce per godersi le meraviglie attorno. Il tutto ci guadagna moltissimo

Ristorante storico di Ischia si mangia bene ma fanno entrare molti cani praticamente ti fanno mangiare con il cane del tuo vicino di tavolo penso che se vogliono fare entrare anche gli animali dovrebbero creare un area dedicata. Io a queste condizioni non ci andrò piu
