This was my third visit in Barzac over last 2 years and I must say that the quality of food only improved over the time. What stays constant, and absolutely fantastic, is the service! This family run restaurant always makes me feel like I’m visiting my dear aunt for the dinner. I will go back on every next occasion I’m back in Milan!

Average dishes in terms of taste (you can eat but certainly not the tastiest in the area), small and expensive.
In short there is so much choice so it is better to choose another restaurant.

Great service in a welcoming environment. The broth to warm up for the meal was great.
Personally came in for lunch and had a pasta and duck. Pasta was clearly handmade and the broth as okay. As for the duck, the wine-based sauce was well done, and the pairing was thoughtful: both the pumpkin and macadamia nuts as well as the pear and liver pate. That said, the duck was overcooked for my liking, and could've benefited from some variance in texture between the skin and meat.

Real quality restaurant. The food is dreamlike, traditional flavors and surprising combinations with the highest quality ingredients. Also highly recommended for those looking for an excellent restaurant with a rich gluten-free offer. The service is mainly characterized by hospitality and friendliness, as well as being quick, attentive and decidedly friendly. The place is in line with the general philosophy of the menu, comfortable and a bit like home. To visit every time you want to eat well and make your meal an experience to remember.

The food was delicious but beyond that the staff were very kind and helpful, not only explaining the dishes and making us love them but also making sure everything was fine. Super recommended :))

Finally a real Piacenza restaurant! Traditional dishes but also re-interpreted, even in a gluten free version. I tasted the cured meats, the anolini in broth, the bacon and the trifle. Everything was delicious, I especially recommend the anolini!

Spectacular dishes, with the best of typical meats and pastas. All gluten-free too! I haven't eaten such good anolini in years. Even the desserts, all good!! Italian family welcome and nice atmosphere.
If you want to be sure you don't make mistakes, Barzac is always an excellent choice. I always recommend to anyone who asks me. A hug to the owners!

We just arrived into Milan this afternoon and our Hilton Hotel concierge recommended the Barzac for dinner.. And boy, it did not disappoint. The dishes were fantastic, my wife and I shared the risotto for two and it was the best we have ever had.. in fact we have been in Europe for the past month, and this has far been the best meal we have had.. This included appetizers and dessert.. All made freah to order.. Will come back and eat here, before we head back to the States..
