We certainly had high expectations, given the reviews, but in short... a generous appetizer, with delicious but heavy fried dishes and the celebrated meatballs that didn't convince us like elsewhere, the arrosticini were only decent, and the lamb was unfortunately tough. The pizza was baked in an electric oven, completely forgettable. And the desserts in the glass were rather bland, especially the cheesecake... in short, a slight disappointment, unexpected... perhaps an unlucky evening... for my part, the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, but there were way too many cats constantly wandering around the tables, understandably looking for food.

This isn't the first time I've dined at this restaurant, alone or with others. Today, after a hearty meal, I'd like to share my experience with anyone who enjoys home cooking without spending a fortune. The setting is friendly, clean, and the service is fast. Enjoy your meal 😋👍🍝🥂

I went with my son a little while ago. We chose the heifer steak and pork chops. The meat was well done and very tender. The fries were very good. The dessert was panna cotta. Everything was excellent! The place is very nice. The prices are fair. I highly recommend going there.

Borgo Nuovo appetizer for two, half a liter of Montepulciano, butter and sage ravioli, 10 spectacular liver arrosticini, 10 classic arrosticini, zucchini flowers, 1 bottle of water, 2 espressos. €60, exceptional value, more than generous portions. Excellent. Highly recommended.

We discovered this little restaurant by chance: we returned the next evening. An incredible place for the quality of the products, the selection of dishes, and the absolutely below-average price. The antipasto del borgo (a typical antipasto) was a delight. Everything was delicious, from the pasta to the meat, but special mention goes to the pepper compote (never tasted so good) and the micetta (a kind of cake) that accompanies you throughout the dinner. Wonderful!

We arrived without a reservation at the end of a long day of walking and were greeted warmly. We asked for vegan options and were satisfied with a delicious focaccia and lots of vegetables, topped off with a wonderful pepper jam! We're so happy to have found a place where they still take pleasure in making guests feel at home, with attention to detail and service, and with a kitchen and dining room in perfect harmony. A restaurant that truly deserves to be!
