Nice experience, renovated place and very nice to look at, characteristic, even if very small. Excellent food and friendly, polite service. I also appreciated the presence of particular and unusual dishes and desserts, different from the usual but very good. Price more than fair.

4 of us went for lunch and chose to try the first round. It wasn't the first time we came to eat here and we had never been disappointed, in fact we always had a great time, but this time the positive review was a must. The formula includes the possibility of tasting first courses present in the à la carte menu but also in the chef's advice menu, in a random order chosen on the spot by the chef; this allows you to both try many different flavors and taste foods that perhaps you wouldn't have chosen to completely change your mind about your tastes 😂 The portions are not exaggerated but more than fair and each course was a pleasant surprise. We note the search for local and seasonal raw materials, but also for new and unexpected combinations. We ate:
- Ossola gnocchi
- tagliatelle with venison ragout
- Pumpkin, rosemary and amaretti risotto
- pappardelle with artichoke sauce
- braised ravioli with boscaiola sauce
- dumplings with local cheese and truffle fondue
- ricotta and spinach daisies with nettle sauce
- legume soup
- pumpkin and ricotta daisies with butter, saffron and marjoram
- onion soup
- local tripe
- lasagna with meat sauce
- carbonara with salmon trout
One dish better than the other! And the first round includes lemon sorbet, a necessary and highly appreciated finishing touch. Many compliments to the chef for the idea and the execution, thanks to the dining room staff, made up entirely of young, polite and smiling guys, who welcomed us very well and complied with our every request, and to you who had the patience to read everything, let me recommend this place and I assure you that you will not regret it.

Sulla strada principale della valle si trova questo piccolo ristorante dall’ambiente caldo e raccolto. Il menù, seppur legato al territorio, è originale e interessante. Appena accomodati gli ospiti vengono omaggiati di un piccolo entrée di benvenuto così come a conclusione viene offerto un piccolo dolcetto. Le materie prime sono delle valli e in questo modo i sapori sono buoni e sinceri. Consigliamo di provare le saporite lasagne ossolane e l’ottima molinetta. Nota di merito a pane, pasta e dolci in quanto sono tutti fatti in casa.

Metto 5 stelline solo perché non c e ne sono 6…cosa dire…più che perfetto ..personale gentile, sincero..familiare…antipasti veramente a km0…salumi e formaggi eccelsi ..i primi…gli gnocchi all Ossolana da meditazione ..ottima lasagna all ossolana e le fettuccine al ragù di cervo..carta dei vini essenziale ma che da la possibilità di scegliere tra vini locali e altri che si accompagnano ai piatti…mi dispiace ragazzi ..ma avrei voluto incontrarvi altre milioni di volte lungo i miei viaggi..bravissimi♥️
