I am writing this review following the catering service offered during an event at the Ancona Astronomical Observatory 🌌. The food was good 🍽️, with quality ingredients, although the prices seemed rather high 💰—but I can understand that quality has a cost.
What left me a little disappointed was the relationship with customers 🤷♀️. In particular, the attitude of the older gentleman, with white hair, was not welcoming at all. A more courteous and helpful tone would have certainly improved the overall experience, especially in a public and collaborative context like that of the event.
The display at this caterer is truly enticing, and the food doesn't disappoint! The octopus salad was delicious 😋 Be careful with the portions, though, as they tend to be generous, and the bill reflects that!
A great place to eat if you'd rather not go to a restaurant...

Great place to eat. Downstairs they sell cured meats, cheeses, and lots of other goodies, and upstairs they have restaurant service. The staff are incredibly friendly and the quality is amazing. I've been here twice for a military exam, and I've eaten here both times. Today I had the "polletto marchigiano" for €11, and they brought me a plate full of chicken and potatoes that I couldn't even finish! Highly recommended. If I'm in Ancona again, I'll definitely stop by.

We ate at this restaurant twice, in August 2024 and on April 26, 2025.
The first experience was fantastic: the waitress served us attentively, and the food was delicious. The second time, we thought we were playing it safe, but we had to adapt. Once we were seated, we were informed that the chef wasn't there, and since we have a child, it wasn't possible to make him a simple pasta dish with tomato sauce. The waiter asked if the child's dish should be served with the appetizers. They brought everything together, including our entrees... not very attentive.
All things considered, the quality was always excellent, but for pre-cooked dishes, it was perhaps a bit expensive.

Best food. Eggplants with mozzarella were just perfect. I certainly recommend bacalar with tomatoes souse and glass of red wine (pichone or ruby lacrima).

It was a pleasant discovery of this place with local products both to eat on site and to take home, we ate an excellent Marche platter and a chickpea soup with maltagliati, all excellent, highly recommended
