What a lovely evening! Great company, a wonderful welcome from the owners and the very polite and professional Christian! Superb service, food, and atmosphere! The food was excellent, the pasta with duck sauce, the meatballs with spicy tomato sauce, and all the desserts were delicious!

The restaurant is located in front of the Verdi Theater, making it very convenient for those attending a show, but...go there anyway!!! The atmosphere is welcoming, the food excellent, and the staff are very kind and professional. A perfect prelude to a pleasant evening. We come here every time we're in Florence for a show. Highly recommended.

Fantastic wine, food og vibe! We had a great and knowledable waitress as well. But I think they forgot about us after our meal. I still recommend. What a perfect start to our Florence visit!

The food was exceptional. The only disadvantage was the fact that is was a bit cold in the room we were seated and the faucet in the bathroom had only only cold water running. But these were only small inconveniences, but everything else was great.

For Christmas dinner, we chose a restaurant away from the Arno River. We did very well. The wine list is extensive, the menu is truly traditional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks in part to Gaia, who truly pampered us. We'll be back. In the meantime, Merry Christmas. 15th century building with unreal wine list and cellar. Bisteak Fiorentina was unreal. Truffle buratta was cloaked in freshly shaved black truffle and perfect. Ribolita was fantastic. Attentive service. Good mix of locals and tourists. Don’t miss this one.

11/03/2026: A wonderful lunch with friends!!! We tried the various house specialties (that's what we went for 😁). I highly recommend the lampredotto meatballs, the tongue carpaccio, and the fried tagliata with anchovies... each one better than the last, paired with an excellent 1.5-liter red wine. The service is very friendly, very fast, and always makes you feel at ease. I highly recommend going there for lunch and enjoying a delicious meal.
