We had a wonderful experience dining at Ristorante Boccanegra. The food exceeded my expectations. I had the duck ragu pappardelle pasta and the flavors of the dish were incredible. My sister had the filet with the side of ratatouille which was superb as well. The sommelier helped us pick out a wonderful red wine while being sensitive to our budget. Overall an excellent experience and will be back the next time we visit Florence!

I was genuinely amazed—in a more than positive way—to find a restaurant so close to the historic center that still manages to combine quality service, excellent cuisine, and attention to local customers, not just tourists.
The staff was friendly, attentive, but never intrusive, and the atmosphere conveyed a welcoming and authentic atmosphere.
The dishes are carefully crafted, with fresh, quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the pizza, which was truly excellent: light, well-leavened dough and balanced toppings.
It's rare to find a place in the center where you can eat well, feel at home, and leave satisfied.
Congratulations, I'll definitely be back.

We were delighted by the service and quality of food and wine we found here. It was most definitely an experience worth it's while. My sincere compliments to Christian, our waiter, that accommodated our every need and answered energy question. Highly recommend.
