Boccadarno In Firenze

Charming little restaurant with delicious food in the quaint San Nicollo neighborhood. The fresh tuna was absolutely amazing. The owners are adorable. Thanx for lovely evening 🙏

A truly incredible address. The dishes were all absolutely delicious with quality products (I don't normally like tiramisu here I LOVED it). The waitress was lovely and really managed to educate us on the dishes. If you pass near this establishment don’t miss it!

It is a joy to write a review about Boccardarno. We ate there twice during our visit to Florence, and it easily bubbled up as my favorite restaurant in that lovely city. (It was actually my favorite restaurant for my whole three-week trip to Italy, but let's focus on this review, shall we?). The cover was € 2 each, and water was € 3. We chose a € 25 wine, and I had the € 20 fried seafood platter. I don't remember what my son had, but it was also € 20. My plate of food was *perfect*... lightly fried, plentiful, and expertly salted. We each had a slice of marvelous tiramisu for dessert (€ 6 each). We went there for our last night in Firenze (three nights later), and once again it was excellent. Our server remembered us, which I wouldn't expect anyone at a busy restaurant to do. On that night, my son chose the fried seafood platter and I had the gnocchi. This restaurant is outstanding. I can't recommend it enough.

Absolute best food I had in Florence. The staff and locals are absolutely amazing and are easily the nicest most accommodating people we met. I also normally hate seafood, but DAMN was it amazing!

Great little setting just outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist area. Come eat with the locals and feel like one of their own.

It was mixed. Prawns were terrible. Tuna was good. Spinach was partially cooked with a lot of stems. Service was great. The waitress was wonderful but we wouldn’t eat here again.
