very good food and nice staff. totally recommend it. i had the meat antipasto and lonza in bianco. Simple yet delicious. My friends had a fish pasta and they loved it (they're sicilian). While there, the Carabinieri came for lunch (apparently they come every sunday) - so it must be good. Plus we had an 'amaro', made in pozzallo. it was sweet and 'amaro' at the same time. Great experience. Will visit again.

A welcoming place, thanks to the kindness of the waitress, Ella, who speaks Italian, who made us feel at ease right away. We had a really good time and recommend it, also for the quality of the food.

29/08/2025: Stumbled upon this place when wondering around and we were all very pleasantly surprised. Group of 6 inc. 2 kids. Great portion sizes. Cabonara was the best I've had so far in Italy. Lasagne was very cheesy but ok. Tiramisu was really nice and finished with a coffee. Staff were friendly (a little hard sell but not overly) and spike good English. Would recommend.
08/08/2025: Excellent food. We had three different meals and all three were excellent. Lasagna, ravioli and carbonara - made just right. The tiramisu dessert was excellent. And all this with excellent, friendly service and reasonable prices. Perfect.

11/04/2026: In the heart of the city center, a gluten-free fry shop, offering everything from fish cuoppo to battered vegetables, from panini to breaded ricotta. Naturally, even non-celiacs can enjoy the various dishes without noticing any difference from "normal" fried food. There's no table service; you collect everything at the counter and sit at the tables in front of the shop.
03/11/2025: Alas, I've yet to eat a nice bowl of fried fish here in Modicano, and I must say I was very enthusiastic! I immediately found the owners very helpful and courteous; they even offered us a bowl of fries, which was a very welcome thought! The sandwich was delicious, and after all that fried food, we didn't have any stomach aches or anything else, a testament to the lightness and authenticity of the product we ate! Congratulations again, and we'll be back soon... especially after the excellent experience.
