Having returned here for the third time (two previous experiences with fabulous restaurants!) I wanted to try the pizza. Nothing to say about the superlative location and very, very friendly staff. After all, these are the reasons that made me come back. Unfortunately this time it didn't go as I hoped. I think it was the first time in my life that I couldn't finish a pizza. Beautiful to look at, it was a real feat to cut it. The base was too crunchy. Tried it with the supplied smooth blade knife but the task was difficult. We then asked for serrated knives. Even worse because the very straight tips hit the pizza and dragged it with them. We also noticed the same difficulty in cutting some diners at adjacent tables. The tomato in mine was also a little too "undercooked". In the end I gave up leaving half of it because I was past it hunger. I agree with the comments already made about gourmet pizzas. Definitely too expensive. Beautiful, good but it's not pizza! but at least by serving them already cut my dinner companions managed to enjoy them. We gave up dessert, which was certainly fantastic but it's just a dessert and it can't cost that much to be an end of dinner. In any case, precisely because the place deserves a 10 and praise, I want to go back and try the pizza again, hoping that yesterday was a special evening.

Location particolare e molto romantica, all'interno di un giardino splendido, con illuminazione diffusa dai tavoli, davvero assai bello.Per noi era una occasione molto informale, abbiamo iniziato con antipasti assortiti - tradizionali toscani, qualche modesto tentativo di innovazione con piccole tartine e composte porzionate, qualità media - e proseguito con pizze assortite. Pizze ottime, sorta di sintesi tra scuole di pensiero diverse, parte centrale sottile e croccante, cornice gonfia e morbida, pomodoro di qualità straordinaria e condimenti all'altezza. Con un problema: le belle posate di design sono del tutto inutili. I coltelli non tagliano (né lisci né seghettati), le forchette hanno manico sottilissimo e non impugnabile (ruotano nella mano), di conseguenza la pizza, sommariamente strappata, deve essere consumata usando le mani, con rischi ed imbarazzi facilmente immaginabili. Se la proprietà non intende rinunciare alle sue belle posate (ma come faranno a mangiare le bistecche?), almeno serva le pizze già tagliate a spicchi! Buoni i dolci. Torneremo per assaggiare le carni (portandoci da casa forchetta e coltello).

Fremragende mad tilberedt perfekt af gode råvarer. Varieret menukort. Venlig, professionel betjening. Vi sad ved borde udenfor på græsset i en fantastisk kulisse.

Restaurant in Sesto Fiorentino in a wonderful location, behind Villa Gucciardini. Impeccable service, very nice and kind waiters. Menu not too varied, but very good. My mother had the "beef" with wild herbs. They were so nice that due to a cooking error, they offered her the meat. Unsurpassed! It wasn't so obvious nowadays. To be recommended! We will definitely be back!!! :)
