This was one of the most unique and fun experiences I've ever had, not just in Vegas in general. If you ever want a stimulating, great food first date idea. DO THIS. The lack of control and sight was so different, the food was fantastic to boot. Our waitress was Chloe and she was an absolute riot and made the entire experience so much better than it could have been.

Far and away the most unique and interesting thing I've ever done in Vegas. Dining in complete darkness with my partner, we had a blast trying to guess what we were eating with each of the seven courses, and while we were spot on in some regards, we were so wrong on others but could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Our server was attentive and kept our water glasses filled. This place is a must try for Vegas, if you don't mind hopping off the strip for a while.

We went to Blackout in Vegas and had a mixed experience. Sarah, our server, was amazing. She made the whole evening fun and engaging. The food was good and definitely interesting, with the dessert standing out as especially well done.
But here’s the issue: it was way too loud inside. The whole point of dining in the dark is to heighten your other senses—taste, smell, touch, even hearing. Instead, we were surrounded by people talking at full volume and loud music pumping through the room. It killed the whole “sensory immersion” idea.
If they want to deliver on the concept, they need to dial down the noise. Otherwise, it’s just eating in the dark—and not in a way that enhances the experience.

Super cool evening and a very different dining experience. 7 courses and we did the wine pairing with each course (about a 2oz pour/ea). It is no joke pitch black in here. You must put your phone in a locker ornturn it off. Your server wears night vision goggles and brings you each course with your pairing about every ten minutes. Our total experience lasted about 2 hours as we had lots of fun with it. The music was really good and we enjoyed dancing at our table, knowing no one else could see us. The wine was decent. The food was average, but it forced you to use your senses to talk about what you were eating. It was honestly a fun dinner with our fifteen year old daughter, knowing there are no phones and we had really good conversation about the food and in general. Our server was awesome and she was a lot of fun. She will talk to you about what you think. You tasted, ate and/or drank, but she won't confirm it until you finish the meal, at which point you can see the menu at checkout to see if you were right. If you want a completely different dining experience than this is highly recommended. I think this would be an awesome early relationship, date night idea if you really want to get to know someone.

We had the absolute most amazing time dining at the Blackout tonight, we cannot recommend it enough! We were welcomed at the front desk by the most lovely people, William and Sarah, and our waitress Breeze made our experience simply out of this world! She explained everything to us and made us feel comfortable. We got to meet one of the cooks, Marcel, and we could tell he was very proud of the work they do in the kitchen, and it shows in the taste of every dish! We LOVED every single item on the menu, it was well inspired and perfectly flavourful. We had the best time and will definitely go back as soon as we can!

Time stopped while we were there. It was so interesting to experience the food without seeing it. I found myself focusing on solving the mystery of what I was eating more than anything else. Conversation flowed because it was like pillow talk. It was very intimate.

It was a great experience to enjoy ONCE! The appeal wears off at the second visit mainly because the food was nothing special. As much as I wanted to enjoy the food it wasn't filling or exceptionally delicious. I really hope they work on the menu, especially for the price.
