Very nice pub in a characteristic alley in the historic center. The food is good but the price is better. The sandwiches are good and tasty. It's a shame about the completely industrial meat, but it's well-composed with sauces and ingredients. The bread is excellent. It's a shame not to be able to choose between two types of different quality meat at different prices. It would be perfect because, with that meat, they were already good. I imagine what it would be with a Chianina burger cooked rare. Otherwise, excellent beer, very kind and very quick staff, and very low prices but normal for the quality of the meat.

A small pub with tables in the alleys behind the castle. The service is truly friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. We chose the pinsas, and they were truly delicious, both the classic ones and the more unusual ones, perfect for pairing with beer. Recommended.

I only discovered this pub last summer when, while exploring the alleys of Avetrana's historic center, we stumbled upon this fantastic place. We immediately fell in love with it, so much so that now, after work, it's become a regular stop for a beer or a cocktail at Mario's. He's always kind and helpful. He's a truly down-to-earth guy who makes you feel right at home, not like a stranger just passing through. I'm only giving it 5 stars because I'm not allowed to give more. But as a Google Local Guide, I can't help but recommend this place. Kudos to all the staff, too.

Small pub in a small street in Avetrana. Good selection of products, only 2 beers on tap. Honest and reasonable prices. Very friendly staff.

09/07/2025: I couldn't wait for it to reopen. The wait time for the right pizzas was long, the staff were friendly, and I found them to be very helpful. The prices seemed fair.
01/06/2025: We had dinner and tasted an excellent pizza with a really light dough and the typical aroma of a wood-fired oven: the choice fell on the pizza that bears the name of the restaurant, stuffed with fior di latte, cherry tomatoes, Norcia sausage and chopped pistachios. The cooking was impeccable, especially under the pizza and pleasant speckles on the surface. The flavor of the Norcia sausage was unique. The choice of dessert fell on a chocolate cake with a soft center, a sweet and balanced flavor that was not cloying to the palate, served with a decoration that was pleasant to the eye. The total cost of the dinner for 3 pizzas, 2 drinks, 2 desserts and the service charge is perfectly in line with the quality of the food, as well as the speed of the service. A place to definitely return to.

30/09/2025: A hotel like the ones I remembered from my childhood. Truly Italian. Very hospitable, clean, a large corner room, and a very quiet location. For dinner, there was a menu with a choice for everyone. It was served in large bowls – as much as you wanted. Truly delicious. One night while passing through. But we would gladly come back.
21/09/2025: The property is a bit dated but welcoming. Located a few kilometers from the sea in a quiet area.
