Very nice pub in a characteristic alley in the historic center. The food is good but the price is better. The sandwiches are good and tasty. It's a shame about the completely industrial meat, but it's well-composed with sauces and ingredients. The bread is excellent. It's a shame not to be able to choose between two types of different quality meat at different prices. It would be perfect because, with that meat, they were already good. I imagine what it would be with a Chianina burger cooked rare. Otherwise, excellent beer, very kind and very quick staff, and very low prices but normal for the quality of the meat.

A small pub with tables in the alleys behind the castle. The service is truly friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. We chose the pinsas, and they were truly delicious, both the classic ones and the more unusual ones, perfect for pairing with beer. Recommended.

19/02/2026: I returned after a few years and left satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff friendly. I appreciated the attention to wait times. In my case, alone, I was given priority over more demanding tables. The fish is fresh and the dishes are generous. The mixed antipasto is worth it; it would be enough on its own. There are some risky options, like the strawberries with a side of shrimp, which I honestly didn't understand. For the main course, I would have lightened the grilled calamari with a generous accompaniment of diced peppers. I would leave more room for the fish, without overshadowing it too much. The wine selection is good. In any case, it's a place to go with confidence and avoid any surprises. Highly recommended.
