Nice place internally, with 50 seats inside and some outside in the summer. Friendly service even if leaving two small pieces of bread at a time in a saucer forces customers to have to ask for it several times: I found it a bit annoying. For the rest I liked everything: from the mise en place (even if I prefer transparent water glasses) to the freshness of the fish. The prices are high but still commensurate with the quality of the food. Satisfied, I will recommend this property.

I returned for a special evening. An evening to discover quality techniques for fish processing. Here we experienced the art of food and savored a combination of fish flavors and wild Murgia herbs, tasting the wines produced by synergistic agriculture. Well done chef Vincenzo.
If you are looking for a place to eat fish (I suggest) or even meat in a different, refined way, where the ingredients are part of a personalized cuisine; you are in the right place. I'll tell you about my experience for a fish menu where after the appetizer based on excellent quality raw fish, we enjoyed excellent first and second courses. I recommend the raviolone stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and lobster sauce. for second the "Frollata" grouper is matured, with potato foam. Tasting the maturing of the FISH was a great surprise. Excellent and selected selection of wines. Small, modern, respectable location, with outdoor tables in summer. Medium-high prices, but the cost justifies a different and refined menu that combines fish or meat, flavors with Murgia vegetables. Definitely a restaurant worth savouring. For the costs? consult the online menu. I confess: I returned to taste the fish cured meats prepared personally by Vincenzo, but... I won't tell you anything else...

Hello, it's a pleasure for me to express my appreciation towards the Chef Vincenzo Pepe, who was able to win me over with his unquestionable mastery and his elegant approach to gastronomy. Communication with the customer is impeccable, a sign of professionalism that is not limited to the kitchen, but permeates every aspect of the gastronomic experience.
The dishes offered are a true homage to refinement, designed to satisfy the most demanding palates. The quality of the raw materials, always at the top, is the foundation of every preparation, in particular the raw seafood dishes and the appetizers, which represent a symphony of freshness and delicacy.
The level of excellence also extends to cleanliness and order, which reflect the great commitment and care with which the restaurant is managed. My rating is an 8, with the most sincere compliments for the work done and the constant pursuit of excellence.

One of those places where you perceive that behind the processing of food there is passion in the research and selection of raw materials, so there is no need to specify that I have always eaten well despite having celiac disease. A welcoming place where the customer is welcomed and where the generous portions never disappoint!

We chose Alterego to celebrate our daughter's baptism. Excellent, quality food, attention to detail and refined flavours. We also tasted the seafood cured meats created by chef Vincenzo. Friendly dining room staff, prepared and available for any type of request. Highly recommended restaurant
