First time I tried Swedish cuisine and I admit that I liked them. In this very intimate place I tasted the herring (seasoned in various ways) with bread and butter, the baked potato with skagen sauce, the typical Swedish meatballs and the salmon stuffed with cabbage with a side of rice (chosen from the menu of the day). I ended the dinner tasting a glass of the owners' homemade brandy. Some flavors are very strong, and I was positively surprised by the condiments and the choice of ingredients used in the dishes: for example the oregano oil to season the African variety rice or the bay leaf and mustard to flavor the herring. The flavor of cinnamon is important in the dessert, which I personally like less. The service is impeccable and the owners were very kind in explaining the composition of the dishes to me.

Invitato da amici ci sono andato con la giusta dose di scetticismo dato che la Svezia non è rinomata per la sua cucina. Ma l'atmosfera accogliente, il personale simpatico e cordiale e il menù particolare mi hanno reso già più propenso. I piatti vanno dalla cucina svedese a quella orientale e salutista con ingredienti tipici e particolari, passando per la cucina di altre nazioni. Ottime le salse di accompagnamento agli starter, molto particolare la patata viola svedese accompagnata da gorgonzola, buono, ben cotto ma non memorabile il salmone affumicato (si sentiva poco l'affumicatura) mentre ottimi gli involtini di salmone fuori menù: davvero gustosi. Buoni i dolci. Da ritornare per provare le sfaccettature di questo menù

Very nice little place, in addition to Swedish dishes they also offer other cuisines (African/Malaysian). Giorgio was welcoming and very nice and took us to try their fried blue potato (from which the restaurant takes its name), we loved it! We then had a herring appetizer (which I always like), meatballs and baked potato with yogurt and salmon, very good. The waitress (sorry I didn't ask her name) was also very nice and helpful. Advised!

Had dinner today with my partner. Splendid welcome and dinner enlivened by excellent products prepared in a traditional and/or innovative way depending on what you choose from the menu. I recommend asking for the dishes of the day, which reveal pleasant surprises. The herring and the carrot 🥕 cake were very good, accompanied by a Calvados that smelled of apples 🍎. Thank you.
