06/09/2025: Stopped by for an aperitif, the platter was modest in quantity, and both the food and drinks were expensive. I'm giving it three stars only for the initiative, but the only thing that's popular is the name.
10/08/2025: Looking for a place to have dinner, we found ourselves in front of the gates of this restaurant. Impressed by the setting and driven by hunger, we decided to go in. The welcome was friendly, and the menu surprised us: not classic farmhouse cuisine, but a thoughtful offering that needs to be understood and appreciated.
The risotto was good, but perhaps it would have benefited from a stronger touch of acidity, like kefir might provide. The mezzelune were excellent. I noticed a slight lack of saltiness in the peas, but the full bite of venison and bitter salad restored the balance. We also tried the two vegetarian appetizers; the open piada was more convincing than the vegan zucchini, which, however, my partner, with a very delicate palate, appreciated precisely because the miso was well-balanced. Not a criticism, but a personal opinion.
Overall, a positive experience. The only complaint concerns the wine: we were offered the house wine, which wasn't bad, but we would have appreciated a wider and more unique selection. If we return to the area, we will gladly stop again.
