It was an unforgettable experience! We had hiked 10km and wanted to rest and have lunch. A wedding was taking place in this restaurant. However, a kind waitress allowed us to stay in the garden and enjoy lunch a little further away, without disturbing the wedding guests. After 10 minutes, it started to rain and after another 5 minutes, a storm with hail, wind and heavy rain began. We ran inside. Our waitress gave us towels to dry ourselves with and arranged an improvised table for us in one of the auxiliary rooms. We ate the pince-nez that we ordered for the first time and they were divine. As was the wine and our joy at such a hospitable reception in circumstances where the staff could simply say that it was a private event and the restaurant was closed.
