A lovely bistro in Rivisondoli, very welcoming and furnished with meticulous attention to detail. Host Giuseppe welcomes you with warmth, making you feel immediately at home. A fascinating culinary journey, made with authentic ingredients, mostly produced on the family farm and all transformed by Giuseppe's wife, who knows how to amaze the palates of even the most sophisticated gourmets. It's fascinating to hear how the products are created and the expert preparations, combining research and expertise to create sublime dishes. We loved the onion soup served in a French-style bowl, as well as the cured meats from their own El Nero Abruzzese pigs. The exceptional mortadella experiment was exquisite. The roe deer-filled crepes were also excellent, not to mention the chicken stuffed and cooked in Pinot Noir (Coq ai vin), also pasture-raised and expertly fed to bring out the best in its members at the table. In short, an experience that just thinking about it makes you want to relive it immediately. The wine list is also interesting, a testament to the careful research and dedication to consistently offering top-quality products. The desserts are a world apart, exceptional. Kudos to Giuseppe and the Bistrot Rizziero staff for their quality.
