Bistrot Elena Walch Le Verre Capricieux In Termeno sulla strada del vino

Architetto con la passione del vino (e che passione), Elena Walch ha forse trovato nel suo piccolo bistrot di Termeno la sintesi perfetta delle sue idee, che coniugano l'ecosostenibilità con la qualità e la bellezza. Le verre capricieux si affaccia sulla valle del lago di Caldaro con una splendida vista sulle montagne circostanti. Chiaramente i vini di Elena Walch sono il 'piatto forte', ma tutto il menù - essenziale - è interessante senza essere pretenzioso (menzione per i dolci accompagnati al passito). E' logico la qualità e il panorama si pagano, ma il ristorante non è particolarmente caro (piatto degustazione più un calice vino si resta dentro i 20 euro) e vale decisamente una visita.

Outdoor lunch in the garden of the Termeno bistro. Very beautiful and fresh location with tables placed under immense fir trees and surrounded by an English lawn. Very courteous and professional service, available to vary the dish on the menu, special mention for the kindness and smile of our young waitress. Menu with a limited number of dishes, all cold, but absolutely suitable for the summer period. Tasty and tasty the panzanella which on request was served to me without burrata, compliments to the chef are a must. Excellent the vitello tonnato. Wide choice of wines by the glass or bottle from the Walch winery....fruity and fresh the rosé 20/26. We couldn't miss a stop in the wine shop to buy some bottles, courtesy and availability here too. The Elena Walch winery in Tramin is a true gem in South Tyrol – beautifully situated with a stunning view over the vineyards and the Etsch Valley. The property is very well maintained and exudes a special sense of tranquility and elegance. The wines are tasteful, high-quality, and reflect the winery's attention to detail and quality. A wine tasting on site is highly recommended – ideal for sampling the variety of fine wines. For those with a light appetite, the winery offers suitable culinary treats, such as a lovingly curated cheese platter that pairs perfectly with the wines. Non-alcoholic guests are also catered for: There is a selection of non-alcoholic beverages such as tea, water, or apple juice – all served with style. The very friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention, making the visit a thoroughly pleasant experience. You immediately feel welcome and well-attended.

Very welcoming place. We tried some wines and got some good consultation. The place is made really nice. Recommend to check it out if you like wine.

Absolutely fantastic “degustazione masterclass” with Nathalie at Elena Walch. Beautiful winery, super in sustainability, but most importantly excellent wines! The Ludwig Pinot Nero is an absolute gem but also the Pinot Bianco and we were surprised by the rose! And lunch in the bistro was really good. All staff super attentive. Must visit!
