The service was very friendly (thank you, Rita!) and catered to our every need. The food was impeccable (ham with tuna cream and pickled figs, yummy). The staff were also very helpful in choosing wines.

Stopped in with no reservation today, we were greeted warmly and offered a tasting. The wines are displayed nicely in a modern showroom. The lady helping us was very friendly and kind. We bought a bottle and will definitely return.

We visited the Ostaria at Castel Ringberg. Beautiful setting among the vineyards overlooking Lake Caldaro. The tasting at the wine shop left much to be desired - the young man serving didn’t seem to be particularly engaged or enthusiastic, given how amazing the wines are was a shame. Still the wines are all quite unique and elegant and definitely worth exploring.

I'm writing this review based on my own visit and comparing it to other visits. I love Cantina Elena Walch and its wines, but I can only give it four stars. The staff in the bistro were attentive but overwhelmed, and it wasn't particularly busy. Some guests got up after 15 minutes because they weren't served, which is a shame. It would actually be a lovely spot. It also took quite a while for the aperitif snack to arrive. I'm only reviewing the bistro, not the winery or its wines, which are excellent. It's a shame there was no room for a tour, even though we requested it very early.

09/03/2026: Culinary excellence, service a flop It's truly a shame when an evening leaves you with such mixed feelings. The positives: The food was absolutely flawless. The preparation was superb, the flavors spot on, and the quality of the ingredients was noticeably high. The ambiance at Brix.01 is also—as usual—modern, stylish, and inviting. The negatives: The service was unfortunately a disappointment. Although the restaurant was far from full at the time of my visit, the staff seemed negligent. While they were friendly, they completely lacked attentiveness. Long wait times despite empty tables and an inattentive demeanor ruined the overall experience. Conclusion: Good food alone isn't enough for a complete restaurant experience. If the service is lacking despite low occupancy, even the most beautiful architecture is useless. Due to the negligence, I cannot currently recommend this restaurant.
