I don't understand all the bad reviews. Delicious food, lovely ambiance, and we thought the prices were very fair.
The host was very cool, chatted with us about everything under the sun, and had a good sense of humor.

The chickpea soup is good, the pizza is okay, the lasagna is so-so, the worst thing is the overgrown steak, no way. The atmosphere is cool, the service is nice but generally nothing special.

Lunch while visiting Montepulciano. I realize that everything in this world is relative and being objective is even more so. I had a good time and all in all I was welcomed correctly and what I ate and drank was satisfactory despite some flaws. Account consistent with the context. Satisfied.

I can't understand the bad reviews. It's certainly not a star-rated kitchen, but the price/performance ratio is right here. The pinsas are lavishly topped and taste very good, and the wine selection is also okay. Nice service :) Everything was perfect for us.
Per le strade di Montepulciano, ora di pranzo abbiamo notato un piccolo Bistrot e abbiamo chiesto per mangiare, personale gentile ci accompagna al tavolo ordiniamo una costata e una tagliata. Dopo un tempo di normale attesa ci portano i piatti. Ci buono la carne era particolarmente tenera i contorni scarsi. nota negativa la scala per accedere al bagno, ripida con 4 scalini. prezzo un po alto ma in centro a Montepulciano ci può stare.

We visited the Christmas markets and decided to eat something warm as it was quite cold. We entered the Bistrot and took a seat at a table near the entrance door.....unhealthy idea given that every person who entered was a breath of fresh air. However, the dishes were very good even if not cheap but in the historic center that's okay. The thing that surprised us was when it came time to pay, we spent €104.40, four first courses, four desserts, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water...we asked to divide it by two and the division was surgical, €52.20 per couple. Not even 40 cents off. This had a negative impact on us... they didn't make a good impression.

The place is very affordable but provides a good price quality - we were happy with the meal. Babychair that was provided, even if we were the only ones using one, was broken to the extend it was unusable. Some others comment on hidden charges, this is true - I got alarmed when the waitress quickly got rid of the detailed bill once I got my card out, I asked and got it back and to be honest we weren't really upset with the price as the food was good, but it's quite unnecessary. We had the ravioli, pork knuckle, grilled vegetables with a house wine.
