I ate here on a Sunday night. I didn't get any condiments on the table. The food seems to have gone downhill recently if you compare it to older pictures

The biggest plus is the atmosphere and decor. The appetizers are very good. The pasta was a bit too heavy for me, and I've had better carbonaras. The recommended wine was very good. Perhaps it would have been more atmospheric with dimmer lighting. We had a waiter who was probably just learning, but the others were very nice and helpful. Maybe one minus: the less-than-polite remark about how to eat cannoli (not everyone can or wants to bite them, for example, after dental work, where it's more convenient to share them). I felt like I'd committed a cardinal sin. You can point out something, give someone a small tip, but this wasn't a very pleasant remark.

Ordered a carbonara but it lacked pepper and was a bit too creamy for my taste. You didn't get pepper automatically at the table and had to ask for it. The staff was nice and fun, which was appreciated.

A truly cheerful and welcoming restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and the service impeccable. The entire menu is also available gluten-free, tasty, and safe.
I'll definitely be back, a fantastic experience!

Excellent central location just steps from the Teatro Massimo. Friendly staff and attentive service. The location is intimate and welcoming. I didn't try the gluten-free cuisine, but I did try two traditional dishes. I preferred the Anciova to the carbonara, which in my opinion had the guanciale too soft and not enough crispiness, and it was also mixed with a pecorino cheese that I wasn't crazy about, but it tasted good. The pasta at Anciova, on the other hand, had a very good traditional flavor. The prices on some dishes could be a bit lower. Overall, I give it 4 stars and plan to return to try other dishes.

Overall, not bad, but the carbonara I chose was actually cacio e pepe with guanciale.
I would have preferred the guanciale to be crispy, but it was very soft and didn't add any punch to the dish, which remains very tasty thanks to the pecorino, but it was a different dish.
It's a shame because the pecorino was very good, but it wasn't the dish I had chosen.
