Cannot speak highly enough about the Bistro Argegno - it was a highlight of our time in the area. Beautiful food and wine, relaxed and authentic space, and kind service. We will miss it.

This Sunday afternoon, I stumbled upon the best find. The warm atmosphere, friendly service, and fantastic music made it an unforgettable experience, totally unexpectedly wonderful.

A spectacular place. I never used to eat anchovies, but after trying them here prepared with bread and butter, they're my new favorite food. This place is a little gem in Como. Spectacular!

Spent two afternoons sept / Oct this year chilling and enjoying good locally made food and great Italian red wine .lovely hosts and great value considering the quality .

What a find! I went here on a sad rainy day where lots of things were closed.. I wanted to get something warm so I chose lasagna with ragu (beef fyi) as the very nice lady recommended.. so nice and lovely, I finished it so fast almost burning my mouth!! Anyway i was still curious about the lasagna with pesto so I ordered one, too! Can’t decide which one was better, both were so good! I think it would come down to your preference; want to eat meat (beef), then take ragu, want something vegetarian, then take pesto! This small place’s ambiance and atmosphere were other worldly! Perfect for such weather! I didn’t want to go away! PS. it’s also bottega for wines and local products.. even some Como 1907 merchs!

Very friendly service, very authentic, attentive, great wine, delicious food, all at a very fair price... what more could you want?!

If you're in Argegno, this is a must-see. Good wine, good food, cozy atmosphere. And what a pleasure to hear the waitress speak French to put you at ease. Possibility to buy local wine, with very good advice. Thank you
