I spent a wonderful evening at Birroteca Mercury with a group of friends, and I can say it's one of those places you'll want to return to. The atmosphere is welcoming, informal, yet refined, perfect for sharing a dinner with friends, accompanied by excellent beer and quality food. We started with various fried foods: truly excellent, crispy, and well-prepared. The potatoes with bacon and cheese deserve a special mention: rich and flavorful, perfect with a good beer. The menu is varied and well-thought out, with many options including piadinas, delicious dishes, and desserts, all carefully prepared. Special praise goes to Davide, who with expertise and passion recommended the Craunberry: his recommendation was so convincing that half the table decided to order it, leaving completely satisfied. A concrete example of how service can make a difference. Congratulations for your professionalism and ability to guide you through your choices. I personally tried an IPA, fragrant and well-balanced, and a splendid Chimay blonde, perfectly served, chilled, and beautifully presented in its glass. The beer culture and the careful selection of labels are clearly evident. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, helping to create a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Mercury is much more than a beer bar: it's a place where a passion for beer intertwines with conviviality and the pleasure of being together. An absolutely positive experience, which I recommend to anyone who wants to drink well and spend a wonderful evening with friends. I will definitely be back.

Good beers selection, haven't tried food

Good, even if the quality hasn't improved over the years, it could be significantly improved, especially as the meat was cooked completely incorrectly. The beers, on the other hand, are excellent.

It's okay, good prices and good sandwiches. The waiters are chill but not particularly friendly.

It's always a pleasure to frequent this place and enjoy the excellent sandwiches they serve, accompanied by chips and beer. The selection is wide, and you're sure to find something you like. The service, what can I say, is friendly and welcoming. Excellent, as always.

The evening was fantastic, I recommend this place to everyone. The only problem I had was one of the waiters, who said rude things to a friend of mine. Otherwise, I had a wonderful evening.

I loved these sandwiches from the first bite. The place is located near Messina Centrale train station and the beautiful Viale San Martino, which leads to Piazza Cairoli, the most European-style square in the city. There's a wide selection of well-tasted beers, but the sandwiches are, in my opinion, the specialty. They come in different sizes, but the flavor is always superb. Each loaf is themed after a different rock artist, with different sauces that range from unconventional tones, much like the musicians themselves. I highly recommend it, both for the tribute to Freddy Mercury and, above all, for the wide variety of sandwiches available.
