Nice quiet place to have a beer and eat something. Good quality of food, very tasty dishes chosen on the menu and cheap prices. I recommend it if you are looking for a couple of beers and some hot food.

And nothing... you pass in front of the brewery and enter home... this place was born as a brewery and offers a wide choice of beers produced by them, all delicious, you have around ten different beers available, all worth trying and all delicious .... all you have to do is try them all. But this place is also a pub (even if it doesn't have much of a pub) chef Matteo offers very refined dishes to match and has golden hands... you always eat something different and everything is always super refined in the details, in the quality of the products, and in the plating.... guys, an obligatory stop if you pass through Matera and if you are from the city you already know it and already appreciate it for the tranquility and feeling at home.

Very cool bar near the Sassi. If you like craft beer, this is the place. Small menu for snacks. Caution, though - lots of people reserve tables, so it's worth some planning - doing that so as not to be disappointed . We were here "off season" (if that's a thing in Matera) mid-October, and there were always lots of tables reserved each evening.

Oserei definire questo locale come una rara perla del sud in fatto di craft beer. Una decina di tipologie tutte molto ben fatte! Apa , Aipa , strong ale , stout etc etc potranno dissetarvi ! Servizio eccellente , cortesia e professionalità sono di casa! Cibo buono e prezzi onesti. Ritorneremo sicuramente! Consigliato!

Excellent craft beers in an atmospheric piazzetta. Perfect for pre-dinner aperitivi. We were initially confused by the beer menu chalk board- those “x’s” indicate the beers available (we thought they had run out of all bar one😂). We arrived to an empty bar at 7pm but by 8pm all the tables were taken (and most people seem to have booked).

19/02/2025: Right from the start the welcome was impeccable, followed by the dishes and the service of the staff. Highly recommended if you pass through Matera, they make AMAZING first courses. Excellent quality. Thank you!

20/02/2025: If you are in Matera and are looking for a cuisine that reflects tradition, and offers a raw material that takes into account typical local products, you can't help but stop here. Easy to find, located in a side street of the main square of Matera, you enter through a staircase. The place is typical both for its architecture and for its vintage style furnishings with traditional ornaments. The owner and staff are all attentive to the customer. From the appetizer, to the first and second courses, everything is good. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
09/02/2025: Not knowing Matera, we took advice from our hotelier and I must say that it was really worth it. We arrived at the restaurant which was still closed but shortly thereafter the very kind owner arrived and reserved a table for us. Everyone and I mean everyone is extremely friendly, with a smile that fills your heart and that's no small thing. We immediately felt at ease. The food? Wow! We took a mix of truly delicious and abundant starters and a second course of our choice which we were unable to finish, we were really full and I apologize for this because it could have given the impression that we didn't like it, on the contrary we really left it reluctantly. Definitely an experience to be repeated and above all to be recommended. Heartfelt congratulations.
