You can’t have a bad meal here. Seriously. 2 nights in a row we came here and were not disappointed. The staff were amazing. We had a toddler with us and they went above and beyond to make her a simple pasta she really enjoyed. If you are in the area. Make the trip to enjoy a dinner down here. You won’t regret it!!!

This restaurant is located along a small street called Elvia Recina. Helvia Recina has been an inhabited center since ancient times, and is located in the current hamlet of Macerata called Villa Potenza. Today it constitutes an archaeological site in the Potenza river valley in the Marche region. The name Big Friends invites you to go with friends and so it was! I arrived late and I couldn't see the appetizers that my friends had eaten before/or ordered so, for the evaluations I have to trust them 😩. My appetizer, mixed fruits, were crunchy, good and with little hint of oil. I took, as a first course, a special spaghetti. It was wholemeal pasta with dried tomatoes, capers, spinach and almonds... perhaps a little too spicy... (and if a Calabrian says it you have to BELIEVE IT). A friend had the truffle tagliolini and said they were good.... Others weren't wowed by their starters. As second courses, an octopus salad was ordered... very good and a very tasty sliced ​​meat. For dessert I took the HOMEMADE TOZZETTI... truly excellent!!! Other desserts with excellent platings. Nice location because it is quiet and not too crowded. I would give some "Rejuvenation" to the few and banal bitters... to the owner, an intelligent person, I proposed some Calabrian bitters (the best in the world): Jefferson, Rupes, Silano and above all the MILONE with a splendid bottle to SHOW!!! Great Food and service! Loved the artichoke with Parmesan cream. Also enjoyed a truffle pasta. Both daily specials. The outdoor space could be a bit cozier.

Great looking, great tasting big plates. I was very hungry and I took the amatriciana pasta, not expecting for something special. It actually was. It was an amazing plate. All plates looked great around me. Friendly personnel too.

Antipasto meraviglioso con tartare e ostriche, ottimi tagliolini e secondi di pesce eccellenti. Che dire di più, bravi!

Location particolare con numerose bottiglie di vino di livello alle pareti. Personale disponibile e professionale. Ottimi i supplì, superlativi i fiori di zucca, molto buono il carciofo alla giudia. Buona la crema di ceci con i gamberi e l’uovo occhio di bue con parmigiano e crema di zucca. Molto buono il riso alla zucca con lardo di colonnata. Tenera la tagliata di manzo. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Sacramtino di Montefalco. Discreta la mousse al cioccolato fondente con arancia candita. Prezzo nella norma
