Beautiful place, historic, panoramic, where you eat well, outdoors or inside, excellent service, delicious desserts too.

Very very very beautiful and historic place. Found by chance returning by car from Trentino, via a sign on the road. Beautiful surprise! Austrian fort from the mid 1800s, restored and well maintained, with friendly and knowledgeable staff also on history, excellent environment, immense, with good food and breathtaking views of the Verona area and on the other side of Lake Garda. Truly a great experience, we will return!!!

Very characteristic and medieval place, welcoming atmosphere and courteous service. I tried the rib and sauerkraut. The meat was good overall, although not particularly tender. The sauerkraut, on the other hand, seemed not very tasty, a bit anonymous compared to expectations. The krostel was tastier and more inviting although it still lacked that something to make it top. The portions are abundant and the price is right, in line with what is offered. Overall a decent experience, with some details to improve.

Delicious food, great service, and an indescribable view all the way to Lake Garda make this restaurant worth a visit for everyone. We were initially a bit put off by the front area—it was quite warm and stuffy. But if you walk further, you'll find the back area, which is more open and cozy. There's also a spacious roof terrace inside the fortress with a great view.

Lunch at the bierstube festung in Pastrengo Excellent service and food I recommend the Festung dish for 2 people Chicken, Meranerwürst, pork ribs, dumplings, sauerkraut, roasted potatoes, beans, pretzels, sauces. From the top of the Fort you can enjoy a fantastic view

It was the first time we went to this place... We were satisfied. Nice and friendly place. Friendly staff. Given the bad weather, the children's area saved our evening. We will be back..

We've been going to eat there for years (since we got married having the reception at the adjacent Fort) and it's always a certainty. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo cenato ieri sera in famiglia. Personale cortese, servizio veloce, location che non ti aspetti. Eravamo fuori davanti ad un panorama meraviglioso del lago, consiglio assolutamente di passare una serata tra amici. Anche le borse ottime. Non siamo di zona ma sicuramente sarebbe uno di quei posti in cui tornare abitualmente.

Locale che frequentavamo 20 anni fa, non è cambiato niente da allora, bellissimo locale, servizio rapido e menù ricco. Il mio Burger Veg era molto buono anche se 14 euro non sono pochi per gli ingredienti del Burger invece i miei amici hanno preso la pizza e la base non è piaciuta molto, dicevano che sembrava di mangiare una piadina romagnola.... Bo.... Invece le birre buone anche se i miei amici hanno avuto una brutta sorpresa quando siamo andati alla cassa, perle birre di natale che ci avevano proposto senza dirci il prezzo , bicchiere da 0,40 l per la modica cifra di.... Udite udite... 8 euro l'una!!!! Mi sembra un po eccessivo, per il resto delle birre invece prezzi più nella norma.
