Byblos Cafe In Pavia

For me, the first time I enter this very characteristic place. Preferring vegetarian food, I enjoyed their truly excellent menus. I highly recommend it for lunch.

Dimly lit place... and the lamps on the tables didn't turn on. Rich assortment of variations I recommend finding out about the typical cuisine which can please but also disappoint

Delicious mixed starters, at first glance they seem like small portions but on the contrary they are abundantly filling, moussaka similar to Italian peperonata, divine kibi, excellent non-industrial kebab, lamb cooked to perfection, I would only arrange the tables differently. The waitresses are very helpful and will help you they explain everything perfectly.

We've been here several times, and it's somewhere we like to come a couple of times a year. We really like the appetizers, especially hummus, baba ganush, moussaka (which has nothing to do with the Greek one, it is more like our peperonata) and the vine leaf rolls. All very good and cooked with simplicity and taste. We don't eat meat so I couldn't express an opinion on the matter. The dishes are of the right portion and the service times are normal. The internal environment has tables very close together, so you can hear other people's conversations. Furnishings with some Arabic elements but not very refined.

Unfortunately the menu was only visible with a QR code (what an unfortunate trend!). The names of the Lebanese dishes were incomprehensible, so instead of ordering one of the beautiful rich trays that passed in front of us, we ordered three salads!! We left still hungry, but the restaurant is definitely worth trying again. Very friendly service from the owner. Shkran!!

I don't recommend going there on a Saturday. Unfortunately there are too few waiters for the number of tables and therefore expect hasty service, zero explanations and long waits: for example we waited 45 minutes before ordering without even having water to drink, which was then brought to us with this chipped glass...Once this problem is removed, the food is really good, like the wine, at a fair price.

We opted for the set menu, since we didn't know any dishes in particular! It was all very good!

Lebanese restaurant in the center of Pavia, very good food, varied menu. The service was courteous and polite, only a few small details could be revised.
