I've known Lanzenschuster for many years; we always eat there when we're in the area. The dishes are excellent, plentiful, and carefully prepared. Highly recommended!

We spent a short vacation in this beautiful, completely renovated wooden property. Spacious room with a large terrace offering a fantastic view. The owners were very kind and hospitable. Excellent food and a generous breakfast. The cabin, located at about 1,500 meters above sea level, offers a beautiful view, although reaching it requires a narrow, winding road that can be problematic if you encounter oncoming traffic.

The restaurant in the new Lanzenschuster boasts a striking and well-designed interior: panoramic views and a large outdoor terrace. Inside, there are various seating areas, including the "Old Room" and a barrel-shaped room, all furnished with a mix of old and new wood in different textures. Colorful chairs and upholstery echo the hues of the larch and lichen trees. The service is friendly and incredibly fast. The menu features standard dishes as well as some more unusual options (like chestnut and pumpkin dumplings). The value for money is excellent, and the portions are generous—for example, €15 for pork schnitzel with outstanding fried potatoes or €11.50 for the house pasta. Many locals frequent the restaurant, which speaks volumes! A truly recommended and welcome addition to the local culinary scene.

I have to revise my rating to 10 stars; the food is fantastic as before, but the new building slightly above is truly a dreamlike inn, modern yet very tasteful, and everyone should see the view for themselves....

The rooms are furnished with such attention to detail – warm, stylish, and charmingly cozy – that you immediately feel at home. The food is divine – fresh, regional, refined, and simply heavenly! The absolute highlight: the view! Even upon waking, your gaze sweeps across a breathtaking landscape, and experiencing the sunrise directly from bed is simply magical. Everything here is just right – hospitality, atmosphere, and culinary delights of the highest standard, and the proximity to the Salten larch paradise for beautiful autumn photos makes it perfect. Anyone who has been here once is guaranteed to return. ❤️❤️❤️ We certainly will!
