Very nice place in the center of San Giovanni. Exquisite food and honest prices. The service is a big, or rather a huge flaw.
Annoyed and unfriendly employees, one performed the entire service chewing gum with his mouth open and at a certain point he passed by our table, "knocking" on it for no reason, and then continued with his pilgrimage inside the room.
Furthermore, they argued with each other throughout the dinner. The girl is an exception: polite, nice and always with a smile.
It's a shame because although it is a nice place, and the food is very good, such a climate and service don't make you fully enjoy the moment.

A historic shop close to its centenary, where time has stopped. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! Excellent food, masterful first courses, meats as tender as butter. The service was too hasty and superficial, a real shame.

Locale tipico e davvero suggestivo, il personale alla mano e piacevole come ci si aspetta da un ristorante di questo tipo. Il menù che ovviamente rispecchia la tradizione è ampio ed i piatti gustosi ed abbondanti nelle porzioni. Ottime le loro meringhe, meriterebbe una visita solo per quello.

Locale molto bello e particolare che fa eco ad una trattoria di un tempo con quadri, specchi e quant’altro presenti nelle trattorie dei primi anni del secolo scorso.
La cucina non mi ha entusiasmato. Seppur i prezzi siano più che contenuti, la qualità e il gusto non lasciano sicuramente a bocca aperta: piatti semplici e scarni… nulla di più.
Personale… da rivedere.

Typical Emilian cuisine, we shared the courgette nests, and took a gramigna with sausage and the maccheroncini al torchio with traditional ragù. The dishes were very tasty, I really liked the traditional ragù because it wasn't cut too finely and had a nice full-bodied flavour.
We had to ask for the bread basket, but being one of the Sundays of the Persiceta carnival, there was a bit of confusion in the service, but that bread was really, really good!

Always a place with its charm, it's a pity about the loss of the old owner, it has lost a bit of something, but the prices have increased a lot but without raising the quality, you have to go there for the atmosphere. 2 first courses, 1 glass, water and 2 desserts 50 euros

A place to go back in time. The little Africans, the best and the only ones are those of Bergamini. I have lived elsewhere for years but I dream of returning to taste them again and happily go back in time.
