We had dinner with other people in the area for work, and we made a great impression.
We sampled various dishes and drank various wines. Everything was excellent. Plus, our table was in the cellar, and the historic setting was appreciated.

It's a shame about the lack of hospitality and the lack of professionalism in recommending wines.
There was a clear difference in the way friends and other customers handled their tables.
Wine prices were unclear, as the price tags displayed did not reflect the wines available.
In my opinion, it's a historic place, living off the inertia of its past glories, yet having lost the soul of the historic taverns it claims to resemble.

If you're passing through San Giovanni in Persiceto, this is the place to eat. Delicious traditional dishes. Very professional staff. Decor that transports you back to the 1920s.

Historic shop in San Giovanni in Persiceto…..regardless of whether you want to have lunch or dinner (I recommend you do so) the shop is worth a visit both for the place and for the products and also for the owners who even after years of work maintain the spirit and enthusiasm towards the customer.

A pleasant stop in a restaurant that focuses on tradition and quality.
The dishes offered are those of the typical local cuisine, very good and prepared with raw materials of excellent quality.
The service was courteous and helpful. You can feel the commitment to enhancing the history of the place and making the customer feel welcomed.
Good value for money, with generous portions.
The place and the decor made us take a dip into the past, helping to make the experience even more characteristic.
Special mention to the delicious spumini, a perfect conclusion to an excellent lunch.
Overall a great experience. If I find myself in the area again, I will gladly return.

If there was a sixth star I would give it. Recommended by our b&b, we couldn't have ended up better, the environment, the friendly staff, the traditional food. A place that has existed since 1924 and where time seems to have stopped. The furnishings are reminiscent of a time that no longer exists. I opted for an appetizer with local pancetta and then tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and mascarpone for dessert. My partner chose courgette and provola roll, tortellini with parmesan cream. It was all very good. We also took away a Senator's bitter as a souvenir. Thanks for the experience
