Excellent place The owner is really nice and very helpful. The risotto is excellent, the prices are fine, but with the services and the atmosphere, the restaurant wins.

Siamo stati in questo posticino delizioso la sera del 1 gennaio, con amici: il locale è molto accogliente, menù interessante da voler provare tutto. Piatti buonissimi, materie prime di ottima qualità e preparazione da ristorante stellato. Ottima la scelta dei vini. Il proprietario è gentilissimo, garbato e molto attento ai minimi particolari. Peccato non averlo vicino casa questo locale!

We went for lunch on the 1st of the year and enjoyed a deep and sweet background music (jazz), an appetizer of cabbage with walnuts and cheese, a generous plate of Pici, the wonderful risotto creamed in the form of cheese and some baked potatoes (cooked grandma's way, just right). Chianti wine needless to say and one piece of advice if you are passing by is to stop.

Tipico locale toscano gestito da giovani bravi e cortesi. Tutti i piatti, dall'antipasto al doce, risultano di ottima fattura in termini di qualità e quantità. Infine un conto onesto con piccolo sconto. Da consigliare vivamente.

First time in this place a few minutes drive from Siena. Very good dishes and excellent quality/price ratio, quiet atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!!

17/08/2025: The quality of the products is excellent, as is the pizza! The dough is easy to digest. Kudos also to the polite and helpful staff. The no-waiter formula is also interesting. If I may offer a tip, the speaker that lets you know when your food is ready is a bit annoying. There are other, more modern options, like the disk pager, a device that emits a gentle sound when it's ready. Regardless, I'll give it 5 stars.

04/05/2025: Quality raw materials, excellent cured meats and cheeses, good house wine and even the Tuscan crostoni are of high quality. A little expensive. The service and cleanliness can be improved, but in the context it can be overlooked.
02/05/2025: This place makes you feel at home in a city that isn't yours... found it by chance... The idea was to get a focaccia but the rude, playful and friendly welcome from Enzo and his wife made us change our mind and we sat down... I've only eaten a platter like this a few times... The quality and quantity of the stuff exceeded expectations... But what makes this place unique are the owners of the house, like a Sunday with the family... Enzo makes you laugh out loud from a small window that connects the kitchen to the living room, his wife (alas, I don't remember her name) is very sweet.... And we were also moved by their story... I highly recommend you stop here either sitting down or taking away... because a laugh, a chat with Enzo and his wife will give you a beautiful memory of Pienza... as well as having enjoyed excellent food.
