I'm talking about what didn't go because the quality of the food and its preparation are appreciable. Very noisy environment with no sound-absorbing devices and if a small, very noisy group happens to be, confusion is guaranteed and the conversation is stunned. Service. Between the end of the dishes ordered first and the arrival of the second courses (2 stuffed sandwiches and 2 parmigianas!!!!!) 75 (seventy-five) minutes passed during which we ran out of water, wine and bread. A hint of apology for problems related to the kitchen only after I raised the problem at minute 60 and no understanding of the inconvenience caused, nothing at all. The rounding of a few euros on the final bill has no value. I realize that even in catering a negative event can happen which however should not be minimized to the customer but addressed with professionalism, something completely missing. To all the staff

We knew this place wouldn't disappoint. Excellent food, delicious wines, excellent service, honest prices. In short, if you come here for an intimate dinner it is perfect and certainly also for business lunches and dinners. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

We really licked our chops!!!! A sausage with turnips thrown in like this is tasty, so good I've never eaten them, very tasty! Very good wine, the perfect m'duja not excessively spicy, heated up and eaten with delicious bread. Trepitous meatballs with sauce. What can I say shocked! I can't wait to return to Rome to stop in this restaurant. Compliments!

Had a lovely New Year's Eve at Benco Osteria Calabrese

Siamo stati a cena. Locale molto carino, accogliente. Abbiamo approfittato dell’offerta del mercoledì. Abbiamo preso il magnum di melanzane e quello con patate nduja e cacio, un tagliere misto e le patate fritte con ‘nduja e cacio, polpette e melanzane alla parmigiana, bruschette con sardella (ottimi antipasti). Poi un piatto di stroncatura alici olive e capperi, spaghettoni alla Corte d’Assise e una carbonara. Eravamo strapieni ma un tiramisù e gli scordateli calabresi non potevano mancare!! Gusti tipici calabresi! Ottima qualità/prezzo!

Ristorante con nuova gestione calabrese. Arredamento forse un po' eccessivo con fiaschi appesi ovunque, ma complessivamente accogliente. Menù con tipici piatti calabresi (salsiccia e broccoli, lagane e ceci, 'nduja, caciocavallo silano) e qualche novità (risotto ai frutti di mare con profumo di bergamotto). Prezzi medi
