Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

09/10/2025: A very unique place, set up like a shop selling local products—wines, preserves, pasta, etc., displayed on shelves all around and organized by region—with a delicatessen/delicatessen-style counter at the entrance and tables in the center for on-the-go dining. I went there for an aperitif with a friend who knew it. We opted for two glasses, which were served with a small plate of coppa and pecorino cheese with some croutons, all a bit limited. The atmosphere feels a bit dated and could use a makeover. The products are good but could use some updating. Let's just say the place should perhaps be more distinctive overall. The service, however, is friendly, so I'm giving it 4 stars out of encouragement. Before recommending it, I'd like to return to check it out more...

Agriturismo La Cavallina

12/10/2025: It's not the first time I've eaten at this agriturismo for lunch or dinner, because the food is truly excellent. Everything is always delicious. However, last night I was invited to a confirmation. The food was excellent once again; at my friend's request, they even offered us a second helping. But yesterday, the service was truly disappointing. I've never had a waitress leave the tray for one of the guests, saying, "You take care of it, I'm going to smoke a cigarette"... I thought she was joking, but she actually left. Or when, after the first course, she asked, "Do you really want a second course?"—meaning she was in a hurry to finish the evening. So much so that when it came to the cake, after portioning it and distributing it, she took everything else and took it away, saying it would melt otherwise (it was a regular cake, not ice cream), so if anyone wanted a second helping, never mind. In short, excellent, quality food, and surprising service (depending on which waitress you get).
07/10/2025: Beautiful location, very kind and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast. I hope to have lunch or dinner next time. Highly recommended.
