Very nice view! Good food, including gluten-free fish options. Service could be more attentive and friendly. Everything is fresh and tasty.

This was our favorite dinner in Cinque terre! Absolutely beautiful location (make sure to book early and ask for table with a view) delicious food and wonderful service! Everyone was friendly, let us move tables when it got cold, and just such a romantic setting. Highly recommend!

Five of us ate here yesterday on October 2, 2025. I made the reservation the day before on their website and I got an email identifying that a deposit of €15 per person was required before it could be confirmed. It also said that a separate email would be sent along with a bill so that I could pay the deposit. Unfortunately, I never got that billing email, but I had hoped that the reservation was still in place because the reservation was made on such short notice. As you may have guessed already, when we got there they did not have a table reserved for us. I showed them the email I received with all of the details listed, but she told me that it was simply a request and that it was not a real confirmation until the deposit was made. I told her that I never got an email asking for the deposit and she just shrugged and told me that she would see what she could do. Thankfully, they managed to get us a table with a nice view, so I am only providing this information as a caution to others to ensure that they reach out to them if the billing email never arrives. Please know that this deposit is only required for groups larger than four people. In order to get to the restaurant you have to climb a steep set of stairs that should not be too difficult unless you have mobility issues. The service and views are wonderful, and the food was good, but not great. It is also a bit more expensive than other restaurants in Italy for what you get, but I think that it is inherent when dining in such a tourist area. As an example, we got a Bruschette starter and it has three fairly large pieces of bruschette and I believe the price was €18. All of the seating is outside and has some sort of view of the water or harbor. They do have an indoor dining area, but it does not look like they seat people there as there is zero view of the sea. Overall, it was a good experience and I would say it is worth the visit!

I had the warm seafood salad as a starter and the tuna with grilled vegetables for the main course. For dessert, I chose tiramisu – and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve tasted many tiramisus around the world. We enjoyed both the house white and red wines, and they were a perfect match for the meal. The whole experience was exquisite – from the flavors to the atmosphere. Definitely book a table in advance if you want to discover tastes you’ve never experienced before.

We had a such brilliant evening at Belforte. The squid ink pasta was so, so good but the highlight was the service from Andrea. He was so funny and his recommendations were on the money - the wine he recommended was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Michaela was very helpful when our reservation which we booked to their website when traveling went missing in the mostly paper system. Best advise would be to call them to lock and load on you reservation. Anyway she gave us some completely propseco and made special effort to seat and serve us. The food was putstanding and service was prompt and friendly. Best restaurant in Vernazza and they work hard to maintain that reputation.

The spaggettis were very tasteful. The location is something memorable.. and prices are very reasonable.. actually we were surpised from the food quality in such a touristic location

Ambiente fantastisch, Essen sehr gut und....Oberkellner Stefano simply phenomenal who knows his job....we will be back. ☀️

海に面したレストラン。 眺めのいい席は要予約。 ヴォンゴレのスパゲッティは絶品でした。魚介のフライもカラッと美味しく揚がっていてとっても美味しかったです。 スタッフは陽気でかつ迅速。 母が少食なのでプリモとセコンドを一皿ずつ分け分け。 1時間(制限時間)で完食しました。

We reserved dinner at Belforte months in advance. Our table was on the lower back balcony of this fort just above the waves smashing against the rocks below. We had a beautiful view of the sunset. The couple next to us was from New Zealand and were friends with the Chef. As the Kiwi couple received special attention from the Chef, we did as well by proxy. I had the Belforte baked fish and my wife had the noodles with lobster. Excellent. The highly recommended dessert we shared came with typically rich Italian ice cream on a plate as the Chef poured the strawberries fried in bourbon and brown sugar from the frying pan over the ice cream. What a beautiful experience not to be missed.
