The place is just ok, just looks a bit nicer. The gelato was good, but costs way more than other places. The tissues feel like receipt paper

Bastianello, a place that tries to place itself in a position for the upper social class, succeeding very badly. I wasn't dressed to the nines and for this reason I was calculated with fewer smiles than other people who showed off. Since this is not the first time this has happened to me, I feel like pointing out this thing which frankly I find ridiculous in 2025.

Dopo diversi anni che non andavo in questo locale ( circa periodo pre-covid ) a Natale ci sono finalmente tornata ed è sempre un gran piacere ! Ambiente molto elegante, caffè eccezionale e dolci indimenticabili! A mio parere il miglior bar di Milano … un caffè così buono ed una frolla così deliziosa io non ricordo di averla mai mangiata se non qui ! Assolutamente consigliato! La qualità vale sicuramente la spesa ( sicuramente un po’ alta )

Presso la clinica Columbus c’è il bel bar gestito dalla pasticceria Bastianello. Hanno un menu ricco simile a quello di un ristorante, tutto buono, servito con cura e i camerieri sono cortesi, simpatici, e molto attenti al servizio. Ma più di 50€ per risotto insalata e acqua mi sono sembrati in follia da turisti. Ecco non so quando in un bel posto senti che i prezzi sono esagerati fa dispiacere. Peccato.

Such a beautiful place! Loved everything, and service was suprisingly quick for the amount of people. Getting up, picking what to eat, and then telling the server is a bit confusing and convoluted, but it all makes sense in the end :D The pastries, coffee, sandwiches, and focaccia were great!
The server was very kind and understanding of our limited Italian. Bathroom was very clean. Prices are fair.

After several years of not going to this place (around the pre-covid period) today I finally went back and it's always a great pleasure! Very elegant environment, exceptional coffee and unforgettable desserts! In my opinion the best bar in Milan... such good coffee and such delicious pastry I don't remember ever having eaten it except here! Absolutely recommended! The quality is definitely worth the cost (certainly a little high)
