We had dinner with friends and I must say that we had a professional welcome, a clean environment and everything was good from the tasting of the appetizer to the spectacular first courses and a very delicate fried fish and a peach sorbet that I have never eaten so tasty.
The very kind and professional waitress Pina was able to advise us. Well done Pina
I recommend it to all those who want to taste new dishes and not the usual things. For me it's worth a 10

questo ristorante quasi centenario ha avuto in tutti questi anni varie evoluzioni e cambiamenti di gestioni, questa è l'ennesima proprietà che secondo il mio parere è ancora confusa e disorientata.
Non è sufficiente pitturare le pareti per poter credere di aver rinnovato un ristorante. La strada da fare è lunga ma deve essere sopratutto determinata e chiara.
Attualmente questo ristorante non mi ha concquistato, manca la vera tradizione ma soprattutto l'innovazione, ho avvertito approssimazione e scarsa incisività nelle proposte.
Finchè ci si trova nei paraggi può starci una sosta presso questo ristorante, ma di certo non ci parto dalla capitale appositamente.
Speriamo che con il tempo si maturi una linea da intraprendere per le prossime stagioni.

With its renovated terrace and revamped menu, 1929 is even better than when we first visited many years ago. Though they tout their daily catch, ask for the menu. I started with raw red shrimp, followed by a pasta with shrimp and asparagus, sprinkled with bottarga, that was so rich, I couldn’t eat dessert. And the server’s choice of wine, a Tuscan Vermentino for only 20 euros, was a perfect compliment.
