It's rare, in the world of fast food and fast casual dining, to come across an establishment capable of combining high-quality products with such exceptional customer service. My recent visit to Capatoast in Florence Novoli was, in this regard, a delightful and exceptional discovery.
A Generous and Quality Gastronomic Offering
The dining experience was impeccable. The menu stands out for its vast and refined selection, capable of satisfying a wide variety of dietary preferences. What is immediately striking, however, and deserves special mention, are the decidedly generous portions of the dishes: the toasted sandwiches served are literally gigantic. The rich and abundant toppings are enhanced by the use of meticulously selected ingredients. The result is a meal that is not only extremely satisfying on the palate, but also completely filling.
The art of hospitality and proactivity
While the quality of the product deserves high praise, it is the service that elevates this experience to a far superior level. The welcome we received from the very first moment was warm, courteous, and impeccable. In particular, I would like to commend the dedication, professionalism, and extraordinary powers of observation of the lady working the cash register and the dining room.
An episode that makes a difference
Her customer-facing approach was evident in a specific incident that pleasantly surprised us. Unable to fully consume our "mega toast" given its size, we had begun folding the leftover portions into paper wrappers to avoid unnecessary food waste. Demonstrating rare proactivity, the lady, simply by observing the scene from a distance, immediately understood our need. Without us having to ask, she spontaneously approached our table and provided us with the appropriate takeout bag.
This gesture of exquisite thoughtfulness, courtesy, and anticipation of the customer's needs demonstrates a culture of hospitality rarely found, even in higher-end establishments.

In short, if I were asked to rate the restaurant on a scale of 1 to 100, I would, without the slightest hesitation, rate it 101. Capatoast in Florence Novoli doesn't simply offer a high-quality meal, but an experience of genuine customer care. Highly recommended.
