A place frozen in time. We ate well and cheaply

All very good from the service to the helpfulness of the staff. Very good pizza, but above all their really excellent fresh pasta.

Typical dishes, excellent spaghetti alla Materana and chicory with broad bean purée. The owner conveys the atmosphere of the city and the chef greeted us warmly by talking to us about his recipes and providing us with a taste to take home of one of the most used spices (senise chilli powder)

The food was very good and modest priced. Not a touristy or modern restaurant but the waiter made us feel like home and we had a wholesome conversation. Thank you very much! God bless you

We were in Matera and spotted this restaurant at the Piazza, it was nothing fancy from outside , not a complicated menu. We went in with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised, the staff and the owner greeted us in a warm manner , we have ordered spaghetti alle vongole and caprese con salsiccia e fungi, and grilled orata e gamberi for the second course. The food was delicious. I recommend trying this restaurant.

Abbiamo conosciuto questo ristorante grazie a dei colleghi e visto che dovevamo soggiornare 3 gg abbiamo pranzato e cenato in un’atmosfera molto familiare. Lo staff si è preoccupato di rendere confortevole pranzi e cene chiedendo e consigliandoci dei piatti che si sono rivelati piacevoli scoperte! Non è un ristorante gourmet ma la loro cucina tipica è apprezzata anche da vip che si trovano a Matera per lavoro o per svago. Grazie ancora a tutti da noi maestri

Serata trascorsa con amici che ci ha permesso di degustare diverse tipologie di pizze, tutte di buon gradimento. Consigliamo il locale a chiunque voglia trascorrere una serata tranquilla con pizza ben digeribile.
