Basegone In Venezia

Very nice place, fresh cicchetti of a different type every day. The owners are always friendly and often have live music.

We drank spritz and cicchetti. Average price. I would have liked more choices without cured meats.

Nice pace to have a drink outside and if you are lucky enough to meet musicians paying and singing.

Great for having an aperol at a good price (€4.50) and they have tasty tapas.

Basegone was my favorite "Cicchetti" stop on a food tour. We got to try two cicchetti each around noon. At this time there were plenty of options to pick from, each tasted amazing! We liked it so much we stopped by again around 7:00 PM a different night and this place was SLAMMED. They were pretty much sold out of cicchetti. The place was also the embodiment of chaos around this time.

They spoke English and wereso kind to us tourists. The food is delicious! You can't miss this shop

Very good spritz, Venetian "tapas" do not quite equal Spanish tapas but it is still very good.

The lady is super kind, Luca is great and Francesco is super professional.
