The portion is small and we had already eaten carbonara elsewhere and this one was totally different.

Il bistrot è molto carino, così come anche il personale. La carbonara è buonissima, cremosa, i dolci squisiti e le porzioni sono super abbondanti! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

If you want amazing food where the locals eat you must visit Barzilai!!! The wine, food and espresso are to die for and is the atmosphere.

We had an incredible lunch here! Around the corner from our accommodation. Drinks were big and delicious and the carbonara was best I’ve had during our time in Rome. Finished off with the light and fluffy tiramisu to share - also best we had during our time here. Wanted to come back again before we leave however sadly closed on Sundays (well deserved) Thank you for a lovely meal.

Staff nice, food (carpaccio) great. Toilet (unlike the other review) clean and functional. We'd love to come back!

That was good without being great. I really don't recommend the tiramisu (yellow and very liquid, I really did not like it). The artichoke alla romana is absolutely amazing! The pasta are good, but beware: the pasta caccio e peppe is very very heavy. I did not like the dish, much too heavy for me, not fine enough. The waiters are amazing (especially the one with grey hair and the one with glasses and brown hair). The manager is very moody (always shouting at a waitress), which makes the atmosphere tense.

Quick service and delicious food. We especially liked the lasagna and the Hugo Spritz from this bar was very delicious!

One of the best restaurants in Rome!! Everything was so good and artisanal. I ate the best tiramisu of my life, I still dream of it. I recommend!! And it’s clearly not a tourist trap!

Nous sommes restés une semaine à Rome , pour des vacances en famille , & nous avons mangés 3 soirs dans ce restaurant , tellement c'était délicieux & sympa ! Bref ; allez-y les yeux fermés !

La Locanda del Borgo

05/04/2025: Characteristic, well-kept and clean environments. Breakfast and traditional, quality food. Friendly and helpful owner. I recommend it
17/02/2025: Rented 3 rooms to host dear relatives who participated in an event I organized. I personally visited the rooms upon arrival and I must say that everything seemed ok. The impression was also confirmed by the feedback from the occupants who also had praise for the quality and abundance of the breakfast received.
