Possibly my favorite place in Pavia! It's fun to share the dishes aperitif-style, and each one is better than the last. The cheese board (very unique, with a focus on blue cheeses and, appropriately, aged cheeses) is a must. As for the wine, the selection is vast, both in terms of type and price, with a rotating selection of exceptional wines. The staff is excellent at recommending pairings and dishes (they always stop me from ordering too much), and is generally friendly and efficient. The price is more than fair for the quantity and, above all, the quality, which is evident.

It's certainly not a place for large groups and unrestrained gorging, but it does offer excellent food, excellent wines, and attentive service. All this, however, without being "coiffed" and leaving the restaurant suggesting that guests go to a pizzeria to fill up.
Book well in advance, as seating is limited.
I've been there several times, and I was satisfied the last time, too.

Tried both for dinner and aperitif.
The atmosphere is very welcoming and intimate, complemented by the very friendly staff who will make you feel at home.
